ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

As of the last week's meeting, Sunday December 24th, it has been decided that ESF will be OPEN BETA. So what does this mean? A snapshot of the current inteam will be made available publicly, on a bi-weekly basis. That is right, an exact copy of what is being tested inteam will be available to you. This does come with a down side, however. Here is what harSens has to say about the open beta:
"It might be unbalanced, buggy and contains some console commands to make testing easier, that could be considered hacks. If you want to play competitively at a stable server, this might not be the release for you. However, if you would like to take a look in our kitchen, you might want to check this out."
When we say a snapshot will be available, it will be just that. No extra effort will be made to ensure things are complete or stable. The release will contain what ever new stuff has been added on that day of the release. Currently, we are looking into a couple different distribution methods. Once that is sorted out we will begin the open beta! More information will be available later on.

ok kool i got steam and it works now but now i have anotha question. I tryed to create a server on ESF and it worked for me, but for some reason it didnt show up on the list of servers and m friend coudnt find the server i made to join it. Is there a program i need that lets me host servers on esf ( and i amde sure the lan box was unchecked) and if so can somone tell me what it is TAHNKS ^_^

co-op it's the same thing as Team work , co-op it's just for singal player games to play on multy player game since esf will not have a singal player no co-op
Does the newer version of ESF will have Co-op mode?

Besides, ESF is still alive, on the site there is a new POTW and apparently ESF was updated 17 hours ago.
Before i get thanks for the help on the last comment i posted (help) i have one more noob question lol how do u add chars into efs i looked online and and downloaded a char pak and i did wut it said but it didnt show up it told me to add some stuff into the models folder then pallets then the player folder but no go ;(
The guys for corona bytes dosent deserv anyting this is not Coronabytes games it's ESF , corona-bytes it's just an addon for the game so that noobs may have fun
esf was the first half life mod of this kind ...i mean dbz mod...the others just copied esf..it is not fare..those from corona bites deserve respect not the other pokemons
Make sure your useing the updated version 1.2.3
I don't see any real bugs in the melee system, make sure your useing it correctly.
It's incredably complex and I cant even begin to discribe all the details and posabilities here, but that is why this is one of the best and most creative total conversion mods ever created. I highly doubt we'll be seeing anything this creative from a mod anytime soon.
I definately recommend checking out corona bytes for more content addons. This mod seems to have spawned a modding comunity devoted to modding the mod.
