ESF Is a Fast Paced, 3rd Person Fighter Based On The Hit Anime, Dragonball Z

Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

15 comments by Deverz on Mar 2nd, 2014

Sick of waiting for ESF:F to come out? Want to help speed up the process? Well here's how you can help.

Are you a skilled modeler or know someone else who is? Well contact us on our team speak server and ask how you can help.

We are mostly looking for people who can help work on our remaining characters. This will require creating a character model, building UV maps and fully texturing the model.

Please provide some samples of your work and be prepared to take on a project from start to finish. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to follow through and complete your set task. It costs the development team time to train new artists on ESF's custom systems setting us further behind.

We are also looking for environment modelers (Mappers), Object modelers (To make the maps more lively) and Music Composers.

Team Speak can be downloaded from here

Our Team Speak server is you will normally find somebody from the team idling there. Raven and Mastasurf are the best people to contact.

We hope to hear from you soon.

I think these guys need to take a step back and ask themselves who they are making this game for whether it be us the user or themselves the creator. I personally believe the latter and that is where their problem lies. I can understand wanting to make this game as perfect as humanly possible but there comes a point where it is non-justifiable. I appreciate all the work that has been put in over the years but when your team is prepared to release it will already be too far gone. I hope the satisfaction you gain from taking so long is enough for you guys because you will either be playing by yourselves or the project is going to the grave with somebody. This game was never meant for us or I promise we would of had it by now.

Best of luck.

tfw they completely ignore everyone's comments and concerns. I also wonder why we can't get gameplay videos. What is the progress at now in terms of an estimated percentage? No doubt I'll be ignored.

I've been following this page every few weeks/months for years now. Let me clear this up, no one's obligating you to release a gameplay video if you don't want to, but at this point? It's pretty cruel to keep up with just the POTWs!

I've spent so many years looking at these pictures and thinking to myself "y'know, maybe by X this will be released, it'll be a lot of fun" was cool once, but now it's quite depressing. I know you guys have your own lives to care about and all, but once you took the responsability of making a mod with such hype, the least you can do is communicate with your community a little bit. Why aren't there any more trailers? What are you adding? What glitches trouble this mod? Don't forget; You dedicate a lot to this game, but so do we.

As much as Xenoverse seems amazing, it doesn't hold the same place in my heart as ESF. It's no different than all the other DBZ fighters that came before it.

Let me be honest here. You guys do nothing but tease. You BARELY post pictures every week like you promised to do, you don't post gameplay videos at all. You could make a gameplay video easily but you guys want to tease as if waiting a decade isn't long enough. So let me ask. Why can't we see gameplay? Everyone is asking for it and you're ignoring them? Hell from the comments, it looks like people are catching on at this point.

I thiught this was a next gen title >.>

Why the hell do they need a quad core CPU with a game that still runs Windows XP rendering software >.<
