ESF Is a Fast Paced, 3rd Person Fighter Based On The Hit Anime, Dragonball Z

Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

17 comments by Deverz on Mar 2nd, 2014

Greetings,

Sick of waiting for ESF:F to come out? Want to help speed up the process? Well here's how you can help.

Are you a skilled modeler or know someone else who is? Well contact us on our team speak server and ask how you can help.

We are mostly looking for people who can help work on our remaining characters. This will require creating a character model, building UV maps and fully texturing the model.

Please provide some samples of your work and be prepared to take on a project from start to finish. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to follow through and complete your set task. It costs the development team time to train new artists on ESF's custom systems setting us further behind.

We are also looking for environment modelers (Mappers), Object modelers (To make the maps more lively) and Music Composers.

Team Speak can be downloaded from here

Our Team Speak server is corona-networx.com you will normally find somebody from the team idling there. Raven and Mastasurf are the best people to contact.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Yea so. ZEQ isnt ESF. Its not a competition or a contest.

Besides there is a major difference betwean the 2. ZEQ went the way of making the gameplay more a 2D fighting with melee and limited FPS for beams, where ESF kept the FPS perspective thoughout all aspects of the game.

All in all ZEQ is closer to a fighter than an action FPS.

He was asking if people have seen it. You're the one who'll end up turning it into a contest by comparing them like that.

Dude, buy the game directly from STEAM, just go to their store, and it's like $9 and it'll start downloading to your computer.

The chances of it working on Counter Strike are less than 50%

Its made to work with Half Life and since Counter Strike is a standalone game there is a preety big chance the game wont run using CS.

Out of all the people i know who didnt manage to have ESF running with Counter Strike i do know of 2 that actually had that luck. Though that would be something like 2 of 40 ^^;

PotatoAlchemist Aug 27 2009, 7:18pm replied:

It's not working that way. CS 1.6 uses appid 10 in Steam and automatically adds -game cstrike when starting CS 1.6, so it's impossible to start it with retail Counter-Strike. Half-Life in the other hand uses -appid 70 and doesn't uses the -game command.
