ESF Is a Fast Paced, 3rd Person Fighter Based On The Hit Anime, Dragonball Z

Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest News: Character Modelers Needed

13 comments by Deverz on Mar 2nd, 2014

Greetings,

Sick of waiting for ESF:F to come out? Want to help speed up the process? Well here's how you can help.

Are you a skilled modeler or know someone else who is? Well contact us on our team speak server and ask how you can help.

We are mostly looking for people who can help work on our remaining characters. This will require creating a character model, building UV maps and fully texturing the model.

Please provide some samples of your work and be prepared to take on a project from start to finish. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to follow through and complete your set task. It costs the development team time to train new artists on ESF's custom systems setting us further behind.

We are also looking for environment modelers (Mappers), Object modelers (To make the maps more lively) and Music Composers.

Team Speak can be downloaded from here

Our Team Speak server is corona-networx.com you will normally find somebody from the team idling there. Raven and Mastasurf are the best people to contact.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Is 1.3 going to be compatible with 1.2.3 characters? For example, ECX characters?

No.

It may even have compatibility issues with some 1.2 maps

Well that.... kinda sucks... especially since, you guys don't really have any good transformtations in your "stock" characters...

Yeah, exactly. I can always try, and that can end up either way. But other people, especially ECX, are going to do it. I'm actually looking foward to ECX and Dragonball Tournament extention that's coming out. I usually have tournaments in ECX RC2 for 1.2.3, but there complicated and sort of hard to set up. But the addon will make it easier.

Hey, this is looking great, I see that the release date is Aug 29 2008, is that the release date of the previous release? I saw that the Blog-updates show a couple of new features like advanced lighting and shadows, but what is the 2009 release date?

I know the Faulty is 'dead' , but what of the tracks that were in the game from the earliest releases, those techno-ish ones? Are there new ones, coz I realy like them. I haven't downloaded a ESF version in a looong while, so would you guys say I should download the current one or wait a few months for the next release?

The release date signifies the last release. Thats when the last open beta was released.

As for the tracks. Those technoish tracks were made in a program by masta if i recall correctly.
