ESF Is a Fast Paced, 3rd Person Fighter Based On The Hit Anime, Dragonball Z
Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

Most of you will know me as the forum admin Deverz. I'm 27 years old and live in South Australia and have been working with the forum team since late 2001, with a break in the middle for life reasons.
Since coming back to the forum I've returned as admin and seen the need for a PR role so now I've added that role to my list of tasks. My aim is to help the team relate to the community. I will hopefully be keeping up to date with POTW's and other treats as well as answering any questions you might have.
Feel free to private message me on the forum with any questions you might have and I will either answer you directly or find out from someone who knows. I will hopefully set up an email account sometime soon for those that prefer things that way.
Hope to see all of you around and look out for whatever goodies I can share.

You need the original Half life 1 for the mods to work (in Steam)

If you are a DBZ Fan then I suggest that you buy Halflife 1 because DBZ ESF is the best DBZ Mod that have been released until now. You can download 1.2.3 in here(moddb) or to their main site.

For me, I like the way it is. Halflife 1 for ESF.
Why can they not afford to buy Half-Life 2? Oh well I'll take what I can get I guess.
I think you did not read their sticky, they said that the ESF mod will live and die on Half Life 1 engine.
I hope they release 1.3 on Christmas.
I dont like the current version of esf but i loved the previous one and i wished they would of just improved the previous version instead of changing it. I hope they go back to what was good in the upcoming version and i would hope it would be good since its taking sooooo long. Since its taking so long i'm looking at it like it will be 5 times better than the current version and a lot more cool features and when their done then they could transfer it to hl2.
