Well, your previous version worked fine. So it's one of the new features. Maybe the lense flares is acting up?
The lense flare has not been included in this release. The only "real" new feature is the nightvision scope, but that's definitively not the problem here. Could you post some more screens showing that issue? I honestly have absolutely no idea where to start looking...
Well, that is the problem everywhere in the game. I tried it without using my mod as the base and it was still like that. Maybe one of the settings for the brightness has been set too high in the shaders.
Are you sure you don't have the issue with my old version and exactly the same configuration (user settings, hardware, GPU settings etc.)? 'Cause I didn't change anything with brightness at all.
EDIT: Did you compare the shadersettings.txt with your previous working version? Maybe some setting here might be causing issues in your case (like the SSAO you had to disable before)
Your old shaders work perfectly on your new Shader Control and all of that... So the error is with the shaders folder... I don't know why but something is just acting up.. Let's see if somebody else has this problem.
I made a diff between 1.02 and 1.1: Rghost.net
red marked files are changed, blues are new. Might help narrowing down the issue by replacing new files with old ones and see the results in game. First of all I'd try using the old bloom_filter.ps and see what happens. If still bad, try the old ShaderSettings (however you must merge the missing new values in otherwise will CTD).
Thank you! I noticed you edited the Bloom_Filter! And it was the problem. I replaced it with the old one and it worked perfectly. Thank you.
I never had imagined that edit could cause any issues, but somehow your screen looked like "misbehaving bloom", so it was a lucky guess to mention it ;-)

When will version with anamorphic lens flare shaders?
Probably never due to the heavy engine limitations making that shader absolutely laggy even on today's best available rig - sorry.
maybe if you can't optimizing this shaders you upload to network? (sorry for my bad English, i'm from Ukraine)
I'll consider it, however it'll take me some time to rearrange them because I cleaned them out of my mod for release 1.1

Hehe, there have already the first issues been reported. I guess I'll need to deliver some patch very soon...
However, with the correct config settings you shouldn't have any flickering at all!

I don't think so TBH - at least not at the moment. I'm spending my rare spare time with adding new stuff rather than porting existing things. Maybe sometime in future, who knows...
