Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.

Description

Updated Version of Realism to be fully compatible with DCG 4.0 and the Italian Nation. This download is for the original Men of War version of DCG only. The Realism mod is already integrated with the Assault Squad version of DCG.

Is this compatible with the MOWAS version, or only the base MOW? I hearken from the days when I played with Realism 2, but I heard that was incorporated into the main branch.

[edit]Ah, disregard. Didn't realise you had a separate mod page.

This is strictly for Original Men of War. Assault Squad does have Realism built in so it is not necessary for a separate download :)

So I've been tweaking little things here and there for my minimod a bit. Why does '\set\stuff\gun\.presets' file have "hidden" attribute on it? Almost lost my wits trying to figure out why game didn't find neccessary defines.

lol.. I do not know why it is always hidden. It just is by default. Sorry for the confusion.

I think I broke my version, got sick of Rifle men not being able to hit a barn door so iv moded them, they seem pretty accurate now,

but for some reason the heal icon disappeared :(

might try a fresh download of the realism mod. only file you need to modify for rifle accuracy is the smallarms.accuracy file in the set folder

(define "accuracy_de_lisle"
("rifle_short" r1(0.5) r2(1.00) r3(8.00) r4(8.00))
)

(define "accuracy_rifle"
("rifle" r1(1.20) r2(1.5) r3(1.7) r4(8.00))
)

(define "accuracy_garand"
("rifle" r1(1.20) r2(1.5) r3(1.7) r4(8.00))
)

(define "accuracy_carbine"
("rifle" r1(1.20) r2(1.5) r3(1.7) r4(8.00))
)

(define "accuracy_semi_sniper_rifle"
("scope_short" r1(1.10) r2(1.5) r3(1.7) r4(1.85) r5(8.50))
)

(define "accuracy_sniper_rifle"
("scope" r1(1.10) r2(1.5) r3(1.7) r4(1.85) r5(8.50))
)

iv changed the first buble in the section for rifles to 1.20 see what that does
