I think you should add more animation on the appearing of the building, like protoss warping completion may be, not just a flash like that. The other things are all good.
Yeah I find it also to "dull", so just a few animation tips which can make it improve and maybe looks visual better.
I think the "Drone" come's in to fast, this can also looks like that because of the angle.
When the Drone is "there" make it rotate around the build-up animation of the original building it self. Try also to make it looks like it is hovering (up and down), not to fast of course but also not to slow. I think the right speed should be that a trained eye can see it. When it is rotating around and the flashlight is rotating maybe it looks also better to have it turn on and off so it looks like it is "holo-gramming" different parts of the building.
Alright that was just the drone. Now lets go to the building it self.
The whole thing is coming up. with a cloak. I don't know if that is the style of the Ordos because I haven't played dune in year, but maybe it looks better if it is a bit if transparent, but not static like when you have pre-selected the building. Maybe make it possible that it is between cloak and pre-select state.
With the animation it self. I think the Chassis of the building can go up from the ground. but the front should unpack (move out), behind the building the tube's should connect. The platform where the disk is connected there the disk should come up and unpack the disk it shelf in the direction of a time clock (to the right) and on everyone one part of the disk should unpack it self.

actually i thinking about 3-4 drones (mater emitter) rotating around building, but crossing lights is looks not realy cool.
about animation lenght, ist only 3 sec for every building, and increasing animation lenth will increase build time.

That Radar is very resemblant of the TibSun Nod Radar, wich is very cool, this mod is going for greatness.
