[Dune:Evolution] Perhaps this is our strangest update that one could have expected. Perhaps this is our strangest update that one could have expected. New units, new concept arts, new stories and articals - this is not the whole list of thing you will not see in this update =) But don't hurry to fetch your rotten tomatoes, you'll have something to take a look at, it can even be interesting for you.

It has been a while since our last update and we have received many pessimistic messages from everywhere, it was like "why are you so quiet?", "is the project dead?" and "bwa-ha-ha, I knew that", etc. This is the possible reason why you are reading this.


When we were looking for the material we could show you without tearing anything off our real update, we turned our eyes to the cemetery of derelict models. They were abandoned because we changed the gameplay concept or got more suitable versions. However, most of them are still good enough and deserve to see the light.


1. Um… a strange model =)

2. An Atreides transport vehicle. Was abandoned due to the changes of faction design...

3. The very first harvester for Harkonnen.

4. An artillery vehicle for, I think, the Atreides, it was made at the times of the first development team and it was in the project for a long time due to its simplicity and elegance but...


1. An attempt to make a harvester.

2. The first version of Fire Gullet.

3. The very first model in our project that got a texture. The texture was made by Petruxa.


1. A Harkonnen defensive tower, was dropped as it didn't correspond to the faction after some changes in their concept.

2. The Palace, the forbidden weapon of house Harkonnen. Kiwi said he'll make a better one =)

3. The refinery, didn't suit the system.

4. The palace in Arrakeen city. We got a better version.

5. Another refinery version 0_o


Atreides support vehicle, was rejected as a class.


1. Devastator, first version.

2. Devastator, second version + the first version of the assault tank.


1. A Cobra.

2. This was supposed to be a Minotaur but it turned out to be a Kiwitaur. The model is good but it doesn't fit the concept.

3. Another attempt to make a Harkonnen harverster.

4. Another Minotaur, was dropped as there is a better model.

5. A laser tank.

This unit was approved by the whole team, it was complete but it, unfortunately, turned out to be impossible to implement its system by the existing SDK tools.
