People say that the universe is infinite… say that it’s impossible to realize its size. But sometimes even the infinity has a place…a source of all wishes…and when such a source appears…then even the infinity becomes cramped. DUNE!
The Monolith is one of the latest Ix creations made for the Harkonnen during their reign on Arrakis.
Like the Devastator, this is a nuclear tank, but it is far more functional. It features:
- rapid firing rate;
- technician compartment;
- carpet bombing;
- ramming ability.
This makes the Monolith one of the most valuable units in the arsenal of House Harkonnen, but it also greatly limits its usage. A highly trained crew with mentat abilities is required for decent operation of this vehicle, and it is the main reason why this tank enters the battlefield only in the most extreme cases. However, if the vehicle appears on the battlefield at all, this is definitely a bad omen for the enemies of the Harkonnen.
I didn't like this model, because :
How does it turn the gun to shoot ???
Self-propelled assault guns are cool, that's why. :)
Yeah I don't understand why they in the future would make a tank without a moving turret. But it seems to be more of an artillary unit except for the ramming ability. Otherwise nice texture and all!
Hence my question: How this could be an artillery?
The cannon from the top, if we turn it up, it will point to the right, so it'll shoot completly wrong!
Dude Its broadside firing artillery
kkakakakaakakkakaaakakakakakakaka!!!
il liking thing this and for all those confused might it just be that hull mounted guns are more accurate the turret mounted
I rather like it :), reminds me of the German Stug IV.
maybe it deploys or so
and while that it also deploys the real gun
Maybe make it a small rocket-artillery that fires small "Death Hand"-like rockets. But now I don't understand how it (deploys and (???)) shoots the main gun(((
Looks a bit too boxy and tight if you know what I mean.
