Welcome back on Arrakis, Commander!
We from Thundermods.net announce one of our mods, Dune: Arrakian Wars (DAW for short), which will bring you back onto the desert planet 'Dune'. Based on the last game of the Dune universe 'Emperor - Battle for Dune', DAW will bring back the Dune feeling to your screens, featured with high-end graphics, new gameplay elements and the original music from Emperor.
DAW will feature all three main houses, Atreides, Harkonnen and Ordos and also feature the five famous subhouses Fremen, Guild, Ix, Sardaukar, and Tleilaxu, which will unlike Emperor not chosen until you're ingame.
This and other Gameplay changes will allow DAW to differ from Emperor but also create the good old Dune-feeling.

Id prefer to see nod/gdi/scrin units on the dune surface... and dude... sad about the fact that youre basing it off Emperor... while that is already 3d... would much rather see one based on Dune 2000

it's really just a mod for cnc3tw, and not more. we do our best for a good look and so on. i don't know why there should it be that a mod looks better than a mod should look. mods are a hobby for all modders, but one where this times professionalism is one big aspect. times of crappy models und textures is most over...
I think you have done a great job and whether it is based on Emperor, which I have and enjoyed, or Dune 2000, which I enjoyed as well... it looks like these guys have put a lot of hard work into the models and textures and it looks impressive. Keep up the great work and I'll have to get C&C-TW to play the mod... oh, make sure you have a good worm model with authentic sounds, as I think that will make or break the whole feel of it... WORM SIGN!!!... "The spice is life!"
it was a great game... but dune 2000 was much better... i enjoyed that much longer and the unit designs of Emperor left alot to be desired

Sadly emperor was under rated, it was still a great game, just didn't make much of an impact. =\
