I've waiting for this since 2001! (Well you know what I mean).The trailer showed us a lot of cool effects and awesome sprites so I was naturally really excited for this, was it worth it? Read on and discover it.
When I first fired the mod it was awesome, a cool (if cheesy) looking title screen received me, followed by an animated intro and some really fancy effects (voxels look awesome!)
Unfortunately once you look past the fancy effects you'll start noticing that maps are generally under-detailed and bland in some areas, specially outdoor areas.
Layouts are also kind of simple and linear, but they play well so no more complains there.
One of the highlights of the mod its the lighting; it's really well done and helps setting the mood. Good work there.
Overall this is a good mod, could use some detailing on base and outdoor areas, but that may be just me :P
It plays good and it's 1000000000 times more Duke Nukem Forever than Duke Nukem Forever was!
