Its come to an end If you enjoyed it thanks for playing, but its not mediocre crap that people are used to (deserve?)

It brings me great pleasure the spite i will gain from depriving people of one of the more advanced, polished mods but i just don't care in a world of honey boo boos, and professional ass kissers that weasel their way into things that were once great but now are just an empty shell, trampled under the boot of incompetence and mediocrity.

So one last week to get DNE if you wish to try it.

Excellent stuff, just a couple of criticisms:
1. Polymer slows my machine to a crawl and causes the CPU to overheat (I'm certain it's Polymer, because when I turn Polymer off my FPS goes up by a factor of 5 or 6 and I have no problems at all). The performance patch doesn't seem to help.
2. The "DNMONSTERS" cheat still doesn't get rid of Protozoid Slimers- a bug that I also noticed in the previous version. It's a bit unnerving wandering around maps with "no monsters" mode on only for a Slimer to suddenly attach itself to Duke!

Hi dudes got a question. I've yet to try DNE but I'll do so tonight after work. Anyways, this line here: "-New bounding system on models", does it mean that the hit detection is more accurate now?

Yup its a much more proper and solid bounding system, also allows us to make car hit sounds and way better hit detection, heh you can jump on the roofs and it makes a sound, look out though some are alarmed and will summon monsters if disturbed, its totally not like l4d2... *shifty eyes*

Hi guys for those of you who want the gloves back in the game I threw together a little patch to bring them back. I have tested the gloves on everything except the minigun. The chaingun\ripper though doesn't have the gloves because in the older release where I got the textures from didn't have one for the chaingun or ripper. Could anyone please make a texture for it. Also the RPG is a bit messed up on the hands. The only real big bug is that the ripper doesn't have gloves other than that enjoy! megaupload.com/?d=HF7IEAVT

By all means attempt to do this but note, all textures need there spec and normal maps aswell, this includes the HUD hands in animations, they use the same arms/hands as the minigun and laser so that would only need to be done once, keep in mind that the chaingun and rpg have been revised since the last eternity and require spec maps, I can include this in DNE but it has to be done well :)

I dunno what you guys did with this latest version, but now this game won't run at all. I load the 1st episode and jump down the vent in the 1st level, and then it lags to death and crashes. I already did a fresh install and used the performance patch and got the same results with and without it. My eDuke32.txt has a shitload of errors on it as well.

If your running an ATI card it has massive problems with the cache due to recent eduke changes
