Its come to an end If you enjoyed it thanks for playing, but its not mediocre crap that people are used to (deserve?)

It brings me great pleasure the spite i will gain from depriving people of one of the more advanced, polished mods but i just don't care in a world of honey boo boos, and professional ass kissers that weasel their way into things that were once great but now are just an empty shell, trampled under the boot of incompetence and mediocrity.

So one last week to get DNE if you wish to try it.

I finally got EVERYthing working, the hrp etc, and it's still glitchy. I have missing textures and it lags whenever I look at the broken billboard in the first level...this is really annoying and I cant get rid of it. I've probably downloaded at least 2 gigs of extra crap trying to play this, can you please make this mod simple so that people who just have duke nukem and aren't completely computer savvy have to figure out how to make this work ourselves?

Sorry you went through all that. DanM and I are working on a new version that installs easily and fixes all of the problems. It will have several new maps, new characters, new features, better performance, the works.

Think of what was released before as an alpha demo.

I also found a glitch with the throwing of Pipe Bombs, if you charge the throw all the way and evenly chuck it at a wall, it will bounce off the wall and endlessly glide across the floor, and preventing you from picking it back up. >.<

In your next patch, can you add the options in your Duke Plus menu to allow double capacity on health, armor, and Items? (i.e. 200% Night Vision, Steroids, Jetpack, Holoduke).

Another thing that has been bugging me slightly is the muzzle flash on the MP5, can you reduce that a bit? It's too big and I can't see what I am shooting at with it taking up at least half my field of vision.

Question, will there be a high-res sprite for the Battle Lord Cannon?

A balance request for the higher difficulties, some people like to keep playing after they die during an episode (like me). But with all the enhancements on and such, it is nearly impossible to get ouside most starting areas. Could you allow an option in the Duke Plus menu to start with a Shotgun in the difficulties of "Come Get Some" or higher?

Alot of that stuff is beyond me i only map and import new models and textures, i never wrote dukeplus i use it as a base for eternity alot of newer feature I have suggested have been added to dukeplus tho

i can fix the mp5 flash as GFX & making things look good is my area

The battlelord chaingun, i dunno whats happening with that we had a guy who was modelling it and then he vanished so i have NFI when thats comming.

Personally i would like to have difficulty based on dmg received to dmg taken so you can always fight the max ammount of monsters

This new patch iam working on contains texture fixes, new textures / models, new DP effects and a new map with any luck, give me at least a month to finish this up :)

One thing that is really bugging the living **** out of me, is the damn cutscenes. They prevent me from doing anything and the monsters can still roam and kick my *** while I am viewing the cutscene. <.<
I have died to this NUMEROUS times and I feel you should find a way to pause the game while viewing them. >.<

can you tell me exactly which cutscene is doing this?

ive put the player away in a far away place to stop this, but must be happening in one of them still.

as for the textures you are probably not running with the HRP

Actualy I am, I am running the game on the highest setting and I have some things missing. The cutscenes do not pause at all, all the ones in the 1st and 2nd level of Eternity do this. Creatures will walk right up to me and kill me while I am viewing it.

The Brain's Psychic pull really needs to be fixed, I just had 3 of them pull me at once and they threw me to the other end of the level. Basicaly noclipping from hell, had to restart because I was stranded. -.-

Might want to try the 1.02 patch, i think the very first version has a problem like that

that brain thing has to do with dukeplus, i dont code i just map using dukeplus

I installed the 1.01 version and patched it to 1.02 and started playing. Was I supposed to start the install from the 1.00? I dunno if that is the case but I don't know...

Nah the eternity download that is 100mb or so is just eternity, without hrp or dukeplus, 1.01 is the full version with HRP & Dukeplus

1.01 patch isnt needed anymore so i removed it a few days ago.

Ima currently patching it up again and thinking about including a new level, also my pc is alot more stable now so eternity gets a lot more testing, ill have a good look into those cutscenes and see what I can do.

Oh, did you by chance use any textures from other expansion other than Atomic? That is the only thing I can think of that could cause those missing textured walls and such to happen.

yeh there is a few new textures but if you can see the car models the textures should load fine as they are all in the one pack

Yeah I can see the cars just fine, it's just the walls in some areas. Maybe my graphics card isnt epic enough to see it right since I ruled out the other possibilities. -.-
