Das schwarze Herz ist eine Total Converstion Modifikation für Gothic II, in der der Spieler in die Rolle von Cavalorn, der bereits aus Gothic bekannt ist, schlüpft. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder, Gaan, vom Ring des Wassers, muss er ein altes Artefakt zu einem alten Meister der Wassermagie bringen. Diese Modifikation entstand im Rahmen des Gothic 2 - Moddingcontests 2011.
