As you’ve probably heard, last week much of the Buffalo area was devastated by an early snowstorm resulting in extensive property damage, power outages, even loss of life. Having been without power for nearly four days and without an internet connection for six, I was unable to post DCD’s weekly news release. This week’s Dream Casters’ Duel press release will combine two weeks’ worth of news releases into one abridged release. Our thoughts and well wishings are with those families who have lost loved ones.
The included media items feature several renderings of MJK, a short text document relating some of his gameplay elements, and a production video.
The included video demonstrates one of MJK’s special moves as well as what I consider to be very good character deformation. Anyone care to guess what type of gun Candice is wielding? Can anyone figure out the significance of the name Candice Lupis? All this and more will be answered conclusively in the DCD forums!

How so? Because they are always comprised of words and images? Because the renders are always skinned? What's your beef?
Oh, lol, nm, you must mean moddb main page updates in general, which always seem to fall into one of four categories; source whores, wwii shooters, zombie shooters, or liscensing rip-offs. Then yes, I agree, these updates are getting a bit repetitive.
lol all mod updates are repetitive in that sense, just maps models and such shown off, just because they are numbered? lol chaos, they are fine and they showcase what MJ has been working on. Thats what a mod update is isn't it? They showcase what people have been working on.

wihout flaming, im not bashing this mod because its not my thing, im bashing it because the updates dont have any real content. Basically i dont think they should be plugged, until the have something allitle more tangible.

The amount of mods with custom character models is minimal. The amount of mods with skinned custom character models is minuscule. The amount of mods with rigged, skinned, custom character models is seemingly infinitesimal. And the amount of mods with rigged, skinned, custom character models featuring custom animations, almost non-existent.
The amount of mods combining all that with custom award-winning animations in the very difficult cell-shading style... just DCD. So I could release character model renders every Friday for a year and it would still qualify as news. Brace yourselves, I have 8 playable character models scheduled to feature in releases for the next 4 to 6 weeks.
If you don't like it, well, just stfu then.
