DragonBall Source is a DBZ mod for Half-Life 2's Source Engine.
This mod is now a Multiplayer Mod, and not SinglePlayer like previously intended.
Each character will be assigned their own specific set of attacks, with power levels balances to create fair and balanced gameplay. The main multiplayer game is a team based game with two different sub-modes, namely "Capture the Dragonballs" and "King of the Hill".
The "Saiyan Saga" (first release) has been released and is currently available via the Downloads page. The next major release will be the "Namek Saga" containing even more characters and maps. There will also be more features, which will mainly focus on transformations. The new character list hasn't been decided upon yet, but there should be between 15 and 20 extra characters to choose from.

Our first proper update is a big one, we've got images galor for you to check out. The gallery has been filled with them, mainly featuring images from maps, by myself (Nagash), Gundy and Doodle, approx 20 images showing off our work. Some of these maps will have been seen before, others won't, such as Kami's Lookout.
We also have some model images from Bile and Punchi. Punchi's the latest addition to our team (Object Modeler) and only has "Kami's Dragonballs" featured in the gallery, but BiLe is on a role, he's got Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Krillin and Piccolo up, and thats not to mention a "Stop Sign" for places such as "West City", as well as the Palm Tree seen at Roshi Island, and a (Red Lens) Scouter.
Gundy and our new coder dlswimmer, have been hard at work. As can be seen in the gallery, dlswimmer has gotten all the camera angles sorted out. Three views toggle at the touch of a button. As can be seen in these images, Gundy has also got the HUD working. It's still work in progress, and some areas of the HUD will be improved visually later on, but all elements are there. Health, Stamina, Ki(Energy) and Power Level all are working nicely. The code is much further along than that though, but we'll report more on this when we have some items to display for it.
Moving along, we also have a new "Wallpapers" section to the website. We have three images here; Goku, Vegeta and Roshi; in two different sizes. As time goes by, that section will increase, so just watch this space.

ITS THE FIRST FRIGGIN VERSION OF THE MOD!!!!!
You cannot expect that much, but there is little lag on servers, there are little glitches, or bugs.
The Gameplay is Great I give this mod 8-9.
And they got an animator about in January or something so congrats for them for doing it so well, though I just find it annoying when you want to do a power struggle and someone ruins it by hitting you with a gbeam.
But I really like this mod and I can't wait for the next release, just wish there were more servers.
Also, on the map with the house in the middle, you can get stuck in the objects and all you can do is kill yourself to set yourself free, that could do with a bit of fixing, the textures on the buildings could be better btw.
Even ESF is better than this XD
all moves will be able to upgrade and become more powerful in the course of the game.
althou we won't be making GT stuff, it'll be easy enough for custom models to be added to the game, and i'm sure if someone wanted to, they could change the Oozaru texture for a gold version, easily enough :)
GT isn't really that popular tbh, so we are concentrating on DBZ first, thou if there is a demand for GT after we finish making Z, then we will likely make it... depending how things go first, since making all saga's for Z will take a good long while yet :) which is why we are releasing by saga, rather than the whole of Z at once.
Congrats on getting the specail beam cannon in with the spiral effect. still can't wait for the mod to be released :D
