DragonBall Source is a DBZ mod for Half-Life 2's Source Engine. This mod is now a Multiplayer Mod, and not SinglePlayer like previously intended. Each character will be assigned their own specific set of attacks, with power levels balances to create fair and balanced gameplay. The main multiplayer game is a team based game with two different sub-modes, namely "Capture the Dragonballs" and "King of the Hill". The "Saiyan Saga" (first release) has been released and is currently available via the Downloads page. The next major release will be the "Namek Saga" containing even more characters and maps. There will also be more features, which will mainly focus on transformations. The new character list hasn't been decided upon yet, but there should be between 15 and 20 extra characters to choose from.

Our first proper update is a big one, we've got images galor for you to check out. The gallery has been filled with them, mainly featuring images from maps, by myself (Nagash), Gundy and Doodle, approx 20 images showing off our work. Some of these maps will have been seen before, others won't, such as Kami's Lookout.

We also have some model images from Bile and Punchi. Punchi's the latest addition to our team (Object Modeler) and only has "Kami's Dragonballs" featured in the gallery, but BiLe is on a role, he's got Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Krillin and Piccolo up, and thats not to mention a "Stop Sign" for places such as "West City", as well as the Palm Tree seen at Roshi Island, and a (Red Lens) Scouter.

Gundy and our new coder dlswimmer, have been hard at work. As can be seen in the gallery, dlswimmer has gotten all the camera angles sorted out. Three views toggle at the touch of a button. As can be seen in these images, Gundy has also got the HUD working. It's still work in progress, and some areas of the HUD will be improved visually later on, but all elements are there. Health, Stamina, Ki(Energy) and Power Level all are working nicely. The code is much further along than that though, but we'll report more on this when we have some items to display for it.

Moving along, we also have a new "Wallpapers" section to the website. We have three images here; Goku, Vegeta and Roshi; in two different sizes. As time goes by, that section will increase, so just watch this space.

honestly, they look like **** to me lol.
YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER Cellshading anime style outline of modeling.
Vegeta on that pic looks like my left *** cheek.
Roshi is okay
Goku looks like my right *** cheek lol

you sound pretty deformed GrapeJuice ;) hope you get the medical help that you require so bad.

Cell shading would be a complete waste of the HL2 engine, but when we have done models this way, we will add a feature to toggle Cell Shading for those that prefer it.

Goku and Roshi may look like the ones from Dragonball Adventures because the DBS staff split off from the DBA staff recently, due to management issues. The modeler "BiLe" was part of that movement. Since moving thou, each character has undergone improvemnts, but Vegeta is originally DBS's, as is krillin and Piccolo, which can be seen in the DBS site,

Wow, sounds like DBA people are posting under guest names, which is typical of them. They can't stand that DBA sucks and will always suck.

Ill do my best to fix them up

As for DBA.

Meh.

If you dont like something, Please use constructive criticism, rather than something as ignorant as Looks like my left *** cheek, or right *** cheek. I mean . cmon now .. thats not even funny sounding.

If your gonna ignorantly insult my work, atleast be a bit creative.

the mod team of DBA split in 2, well more like a 30:70 split in favour of DBS. We have every right to take our own work with us, however, we have given DBA permission to use some of our work, and have split the available work 30:70. If you disagree with that, fine, u've every right to, but before making comments like "thats retarded" you should first think about it carefully. Would u like to give away all your hard grafted mod work to people who have done nothing? Thats why we are keeping our work and using it for our mod, DBA can use all the work that they made, but the people that left we the most active of modders, it's more like we just moved locations and changed our name, and some minor people didn't follow.

Sorry if thats not what you agree with, but it's our opinion and we are fully entitled to it.
