AWESOME, but the tracks look a bit "cheap". would it be possible to make new models for the track?
I have tought about that but the time required for that is better spend on other purposes, like optimizing. I am allready having a hard time keeping the level above 50 fps on my system. (q6600, 4gb ram, gtx260)
Even if I would be able to make a high-poly replacement it would probably look like crap compared to the current default HL2 model.
what if you kept the normal model, and add better textures for the ties and the rails?
I 've added a custom overlay for the track bed, with heavy gravel & dirt. Looks a lot better now.
