yea I prefer this version too. Feels authentic.
Also I dont have current/next gen systems. only up to ps3/xbox 360.
And I dont have a PC that can play doom 4. Something about the actual weapon capture and scans make it feel more beefier!

I really wanted this because of the minigun upgrade you can now get. Imagine someone makes new enemies for it as well with the new enemy sounds and its a RAP!!!! Love the doom community!! I take doom 1 2, Doom 64 ex, Tnt and plutona wads on my USB where ever I go! need to get a better laptop as well.

it's awesome mod however while I was noticing I saw that when you throw grenade the sprite is brown so I don't know if it's actually place holder until full version or not..also it's best to play on 4:3 screen if you don't want to see the sprite cuts. Pistol taking out animation is little bit not smooth but over all this is like a lot and tons times better than zion7 so I'm seeing this mod is trying hard for perfection while it's already perfect :P and I have some suggestions that would improve the mod even to better so I will be listing them.
1) There should be climbing feature just like in D4D and actual doom4 game. Jumping should be little bit more higher.
2) Gauss cannon animation at idle goes off if you press alternative button, if that's fixed that would be additional bless :)

oh and some guns have dots outside of gun sprites so I should fix it or you will fix them?

Actually, it works perfectly fine on a 16:9 screen. The rocket launcher does have visible sprite cuts whenever you're doing a melee attack with them... but that can be easily remedied by shifting those sprite frames over to the right by 10 units, to match the offsets of the other sprites.

i played it... it has glitch sometimes that the enemy dont drop weapons and health stuffs.. which is DEADLY if playing plutonia 2

To be honest just use ketchup v5 and u use the Gibbing version in the pack so then can explode in chucnks etc, and blood setting to LOTS.

what install instruction you are talking about? maybe I can help you out. If you are talking about how to play this mod perfectly then you will need gzdoom and the mod itself of course. In order to play this mod you have to copy it into your gzdoom.exe file location and drag the mod file on gzdoom.exe from there you can choose which doom wad you want to play the mod with! hope I could help but if you want more help on this then reply again

Hey thanks for the instructions, but I'm actually trying to get it running on Doom touch (Beloko games) on Android. D-Touch has GZdoom and two other engines, so it should work...

I had another user tell me that he had this and the V7 of this mod running pretty smoothly, but no matter what I do, I can't get mine running. Maybe the version of Android I have?....

Thanks for being so helpful! I'm new to the Doom modding community (and modding in general), and so far it's been great!

Edit: I have both the Doom 2 wad files and the V8 weapon mod already. The app tries to open the files, and just returns to the main menu. No crashing, just that.

I have never tried playing doom mod in mobile but I'm sure there are tutorials on how to do it, I will try to find how to play gzdoom on android phones

Hey man, I finally got it working, and it's running pretty smooth! I had to put the files in both the Mods folder and the main folder for it to work... Don't know why, but that's the only way it worked for me.

Nvm i got it. Its actually red bars. The red bars tell how much fuel for chain saw and theres also green bars which tell you how much bfg ammo you have

I'm not going to say add glory kills or upgrade system since that has already been mentioned. The only problem I'm running into with the mod is you're very flimsy. One rocket from a Cyberdemon kills you at 100/100 health and armor.

Can you add a thing to turn on and off the Drops and make the Drops drop out more often like the actual game (I haven't played the actual doom [2016] by the way) and PLEASE ADD GLORY KILLS (and a function to turn them on and off)

Because you can't run it in Zandronum 2.1.2 you nong nong hole. Either use Zandronum 3.0 or get yourself GZDoom 1.9.1 or 2.1.1.

Hello again,

the last time I was on here I was trying to get this mod to run on mobile. Now I'm trying to run it on PC and having more trouble than before.

I'm trying to run it in GZDoom 2.3.2 and it tries to load but crashes before it even opens the main menu.

There is a major difference in quality between the two even with both set at 1920X1080 resolution with GZDoom looking much better, so you can see why I'd want to get it to work.

Might I just have an incompatable version of GZDoom?

OK.

So I found my problem. I wasn't using an old enough version of GZDoom. Downloaded the older one and it runs perfectly.

Now for a new problem.

The aiming is locked in horizontal only and I can't find how to unlock it. Enabling free look doesn't do anything either.

Also, a question for the dev. WHY did you remove the MP weapons for V.8? (Burst Rifle, Hellshot, Lightning Gun, Vortex Rifle).
