Ancient mythology states that there was a guardian of Mars known as Ares. He was the "god of war" and every 5000 years of war, a portal from Hell opens and sends all of the evil and dead souls out into the world. Ares had stopped the last war of hell from consuming the universe, but in doing so he sacrificed himself to save everyone. Now 5000 years later, the portal has opened again and the evil and dead souls are roaming around. No one knows where the portal has opened up, but there have been ominous anomalies happening on a Mars base. The Earth’s best forces have been sent to investigate the situation and return the world back to its safe self. Once the Special Forces arrived, they scattered across the base, and in a matter of minutes only one was left. This lone soldier was deep inside the base and had to get out somehow, the best way was through.

I have begun to clean up this game, to be able to finish it, and release it to its fullest. I have just started, and I'm nowhere near beginning to scratch the surface. I have been doing the same that I did for DoomLOH and adding in a few neat features and all of the bug fixes that I found, that were "shrugged" off. I also have been keeping to a strong TO DO list and making sure I write down anything that is needed to be done, what I would like to do, and ideas, etc.
I hope that I can continue to work on this throughout my final semester of college. It isn't as packed as most semesters, so I have had a lot of free time at night. I hope to tackle the entire game, and make sure that credit is given where credit is due. ronwolf1705 did a spectacular at mapping a good majority of the maps. I do not want to see his work be lost and never see the light of day.
I had a ton of neat features that were explicit to episodes 2 and 3, so I hope to show those in this full release. I do not have even an estimated release. I won't know until I complete the engine and all of the maps. I hope that I can accomplish this in the summer as I did with DoomLOH.
I have made slight comments here and there that I plan to only make one mod of Wolf3D after this. I do plan on making at least 1. But I have been growing a few ideas in my head. It's a lot of time to work on these things, and once summer hits this year, I hope to have a lot of free time after working to handle it.
We will see how things go, and I will play it one step at a time. I may not update again for some time (it's been 2 years here, but I say in a few months), because I would like to cross a good milestone before I update and maybe post screenshots. It's TBA for now, so for now, patience and excitement.

good song in the trailer
That's credit to Sonic Clang. He made some good stuff. I've been asked if I would ever finish this game. Yes. Got busy, time slipped away. Like 2 years lol.
the enemies seem a little big, but maybe that's just me...
oh and THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!
Thanks, I wish I could've released the last 2 episodes, but college seems to take up 150% of my time. I have everything still on my machine. Maybe once I have time I'll get the rest of it finished up, because there are some really good levels in here.
this rocks
Ok edit, way too easy, also I noticed the AI is really dumb. You could sneak up on them by going another way and as you pick them off 1 by 1 they dont turn around and shoot. They should be able to hear me shooting their friend while im right next to them, but they can't and they don't notice me. Also the boss on the first episode fires way too slow, he also doesn't take enough damage. I fired 1 shotgun shell and 3 rockets and he was dead. I suggest increasing his movement speed, firing speed, and how many hits he can take. After finishing the first episode I can say theres still a lot to be done. The enemies don't do enough damage and the doors block fire even when its's 3/4 of the way open. It has to be fully open for you to shoot enemies. Should also add more harder enemies liek a hell baron or something to the first episode. Pinkies, grunts, marines and imps doesn't cut it. Again you did a great job, you just need to make it a lot harder. I played on Nightmare on the first episode and did not die once. I only encountered 1 trap during the first episode, it wasn't hard but it was the only 1. You should also add more traps. Also the places where the enemies are places is really predictable. I actually found myself planning where to shoot, and most of the time wherever i shot there was a actor. I suggest decreasing the ammo load throughout the episode. I only used the shotgun throughout the entire episode, except for the final boss. There is too much ammo, way too much. I didn't even pick up the ammo on the ground, i just took it from dead actors. Really let your creative side out, don't be afraid to try something different.
Just played this mod, great work converting Doom to Wolfenstein 3D. Still some things need work. A lot of the sounds are to high in volume and cut out because the game can't handle how loud they're and they cut out. Need to fix that. Also it is really way too easy. I finished the first episode on Nightmare and I didn't even die once. I was expecting uber hard core but all I got was maybe normal difficulty. It's still a great mod!Keep up the good work.
A small feedback.
Turning speed is very slow.
Also the pain sounds sound weird when using shotgun.
I also think that you move too much when going forward.
Apart from these things, it's really nice.
I do know of those. I thought I had adjusted it enough, but I will keep that in mind. If you want, use the mouse, it does move much faster.
