Doom ][ for Doom 3 by Disposable Heroes, a Remake of the Classic Doom ][ game by id Software for the Doom III engine.
The Disposable Heroes mod team, has been working hard to bring back the original feel of Doom ][, so far the 10 maps have been re-created, by hand, and even monster the monster layout's have been preserved (or enhanced) for all 4 skill levels:

Nightmare
As well as bringing back classic features, such as level story intros, end of level stats, the use key, and soon an auto-map and even co-op play.

Oh... my... god.
Do you realize how much I love Doom 2? Well I do. Alot. I used to get all... Oh nevermind.
But anyways, can you add the hidden levels of doom 2 as well? If you aren't sure what I mean, I believe they were levels 31, and 32..... but its been so long. You could only reach them by a cheat code. But both of these levels had the 'Unstafo' german dudes from wolfenstein, who were really gay and liked to say 'Unstafo' or whatever. And on one level, you could even lure the Cyberdemon out of his room, to slaughter all of the blue germans dudes for you. So please, make the hidden blue german dude levels. And if you think I'm crazy, install you're Doom II's that have been made windows xp friendly, and punch in the old 'idclev32'

oh and sorry. To open doors bring down the console and type "bind mouse2 _impulse21" to toggle the right click on your mouse to open doors.
For all those watching this mod and awaiting its final release, I would suggest viewing the Disposable Heroes mod team forum for a look into whether this mod will be completed, left to other hands, or if the mod team will be disbanded, for the continuation of this mod is questionable as of late due to ... personal issues inside the mod team.

where can I download this?there seems to be something wrong with the doom3files site,it keeps crashing.
