Endlessly roaming through the Space, an alien fleet is closing to a blue planet. Its inhabitants, blissfully unaware of the upcoming threat, are struggling with the chaos they have to face everyday. And yet, it will all soon change. The world will finally become united against a common enemy. The Earth will never be the same anymore. But what will this war bring? Do the humans stand any chance against such a foe? Will everyone willingly join to fight the alien thread? And why, do the aliens seem to look so human-like?...
Mobility is an important part of Essence's infantry doctrine. While vulnerable to enemy fire, squads of bikes and quads are cheaper to field, also being more mobile and less reliant on functional roads than a caravan of armored transports.
And while squads of Raiders are generally hated by proper military personnel, Rocket Quads are the first, and the most widespread, truly professional force. The launchers they carry are used to fire both anti-tank and anti-air missiles, sometimes even mortar shells.
For dire situations, each driver is equipped with an exosuit that allows them to carry the missile launcher on their own, and fire from their shoulder. This allows them to stay relevant in combat even after their quad was destroyed.
Why an exosuit?
IRL, these weapons are handy enough to be carried around.
This one is able to launch missiles with higher range, so it's also bigger and heavier than typical shoulder missile launchers.
