Originally this mod was going to be a remake on the Doom 2 game. Now we changed it so it will be more original and fun. Its scary at the same time. :D

*All monsters from the original Doom will be remade and tossed with some amazing shaders including bump mapping and fur.
*See what was left out. Go up against the Baron of Hell and the almighty SpiderMastermind.
*Use a vast aresal of weapons to push back a hord of Imps, or to devistate packs of intelligent Archviles.
*Play the game as its meant to be. By taking the gameplay of Doom and mixing it with the graphics of Doom 3, you can experience a fight against Hords of Stupified zombies and Imps raging through cities and homes.
*Go to locations such as LAX, Long Beach, DownTown Los Angeles, and more.
*Explore vast cities, filled with civilians, later to be loaded with bodies.
*Experinece another side of a story, seeing the destruction of earth as we know it. Before and After the invasion.

@Samon: That is not the streets, that was just a quick mapping of a simple city. It was made in 1 hour, with the only thing in mind. To test framerates. So please look forward to the demo, we may include a city. ;)
Ok, I know this seems painfully slow, but it's not the only thing I'm done. The IMP is finished. I'm going to upload it to the in game modeler with a Normal map setup so hopefully we'll see it in the demo.. I've got a mac, otherwise I'd do the modeling myself. too bad I'm better in Maya and not Lightwave. Plus my lightwave is funky. Oh well, be sure to check out the imp model in the gallery, and it's done!
I've got the model for the lost soul done, and the Revenant model is going to be detailed before it's done
In those trite testing screens....is that what the streets are gonna look like?

Uber, I'm fully getting excited about a Doom 3 idea I've been having. It's based on the Marines of the Doom universe. It takes place quite a few years before the whole Mars incident, so I can completely steer clear of the whole Hell/Demons scenario. Taking place is around about 2168, the player begins in the foyer of a United States Space Marine Corps (USSMC, taken directly from Final Doom story) recruitment center. From there, he enlists and partakes in a dynamic, non-linear Marine tour of duty, fighting alongside persistent squad-mates. If I take this idea further, I'd really like to collaborate with you on creating a cool 22nd century setting for the Doom world. :D
OK, i'll just make a small announcement. I made a small concept art for myself that basically shows what houses would look like. I made the houses look as bleak and futuristic as possible. So it will fit in with the year and time Doom 3 is based around. So in otherwords, its going GREAT!!
sh** that is alot of trites i wonder if there are that many in the full game :confused::confused:
