What
I have composed ALL new music for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In total, there are 32 pieces of music.
Why
Why am I doing this? First, because I love the game. Second because I love the soundtrack. Third, because it combines my two major passions, video games and composition. And Fourth, and perhaps most important, because I am hoping to get the attention of some game companies and get some more work as a game composer.
How
In order to create the vast orchestral score for this project, I utilize the following tools: Sibelius 5 for composition, GigaStudio Orchestra for the sampler, Vienna Symphonic orchestra and Symphonic Choirs for the sounds and Cakewalk Pro 6 for final mixing and mastering.
When
Download it now!

This MOD has been getting very nearly all 10 ratings at TESNEXUS, Planet Elder Scrolls, and other places. Lets see if we can get it up in the ranks here!

I think this MOD has a good chance to make it at least into the top 10! Please vote!

"...you must have been inspired by angels when you created 'Atmosphere_04'. I have it on "repeat" in Winamp and I think I'll listen to it some hundred times."

"Very immersive work. Makes me want to play OBLIVION even longer thanks to the inspiring music that fits so well with the setting. The battle music is top notch."

I've typed an extensive review on this replacement soundtrack over at Tes Nexus, but I must emphasize here how well orchestrated this soundtrack is. For anybody who wants a little more emotion in their collection of Oblivion music, this the the mod for them.

2nd and 4th Town Song are great. I love this soundtrack way more than the original. In fact, I think everyone should contact Richard deCosta in order to get fully orchestrated soundtracks. This was awesome and does my copy of Oblivion justice!

10.

That "hissing" you hear is actually the sound of a well-recorded, but probably too up-front muted string. It has a very high frequency range.

Hi!

I downloaded this recently and been listening to it in WinAmp and of course in the game. I also have some of these pieces in my Creative Zen ;). Some of the tracks are really great, especially I love the fourth town song and atmosphere_07. There are only few I dislike.
As an atmosphere factor, the Music TC works really well. It's actually as qualified as the original soundtrack. The thing I can't understand is why you made this to replace the original songs? I renamed these files (sorry) and use them WITH the original soundtrack. And I can tell you, it works!
Overall this is a really great soundtrack and gets even better when used to complement the original one. Still it's not perfect as atmosphere_05 sounds more like from an old movie or something but it definitely shouldn't be a generic atmosphere song in an RPG :/. I'm also hearing something in some tracks what appears to be "hissing". In classical music, that sort of thing is really something that bothers.

Anyways, this is an amazing work and really worth downloading, something that shouldn't be missed.

9/10
