During the last month we have been doing a TON of work, we have merged with VG Studios (we're still InterWave Studios), we updated our web server, we fixed up our project manager, merged our forums with VGS' old forums, what else did we do? Oh yeah! We also did a ton of work on Distant Hope too!

Oh yeah! We also did a ton of work on Distant Hope too!

We've done some hud concepts, we did an internal playtest of what we have so far (things are looking good), and throughout the development process we're going to be testing the plugin SourceMod's compatbility with Distant Hope to ensure those who wish to run it, can. Along with all this Xanthi (our lead mapper) has been very hard at work at our first map, and it officially has a name! Here are some new screen shots from dh_manhattan!





And, for those of you who've been wondering what some things might be looking like in terms of players, here's a hand/glove concept art.

Europe will rise again through the littering of our cars upon US soil. I like that map, there is this eerie sense of loneliness about it. And one which isn't dependant on it being nightime, which I like.

This is still in the brushwork phase it'll go in this order
brushwork, props, textures, lighting, optimization.

Obviously some of these things overlap in the process. For instance, optimization and brushwork actually go hand in hand.

Also, japanese and european car sales in the US as of right now outnumber that of american built vehicles.

the maps look very very nice. but one problem is the city fells so empty. I hope to see more stuff around. like random adds on some bus stops and so on. like fill it out with more stuff... sorry for the bad english.

Yea, ofc. The map is still work in progress. We are still working on assets to include inside the maps. The screenshots are more a show of the layout than anything.
