News Updates
11.12.2016 - Another restart.

Story,
Set in several years before the events of Duke Nukem Forever.
Duke Nukem relaxing on his old fishing boat when he suddenly gets a mail from his laptop. "General Graves?" says Duke and the proceeds reading the mail. It reads that the General's daughter went quiet in an island where Direct System is located and asks Duke to go check it out. Duke accepts it and sails towards the Island. Days later he finally sees the island, he then immediately gears up and says to himself, "Somebody's gonna friggin' pay for screwing up my vacation!".

Mod features:
- All new episode called Direct System
- Explore areas like jungles, caves/mines/ruins, military bases and the Direct System facility itself
- Atmospheric with plentiful ambient sounds
- New enemies to blow up! Direct System's Mercenaries, Flying Droids and some unknown aliens/creatures
- Lots of secrets, Easter eggs and hidden messages.

Duke4.net Thread

Direct System is something I've always wanted to finish since early 2006. Below is my old thread I made back in 2006.

I'm close to having all of the important art asset done. Art assets like the enemy I recently finished, Merc Minigunner.

PR Pix Minigunner

They are pretty much replacement to Overlords except they are slightly more weaker. I'm no coder so I can't really code anything new with enemies, except making them move faster or shooting at the player from much further distance.

Although I did managed to code something new. I wrote that there's 25% chance the enemy might drop health items like Beer, Cola, Burger and etc.

PR Pix DeadHealth

I haven't done anything with the mod for 2 years and so when I finally did come back to this. I decided to remove all "borrowed" art assets that I used before and just make my own. I learned bunch of new tricks during 2 years and it's time to put them to good use.

PR Pix art

Currently jungle art is pretty crude but it's something I'll polish 'em up at final stages. After all, it's just me working on this mod.

Also something I worked on was creating a new intro video for the mod.

Kept it all late 90s look for it. Limited colors, simple modelling and very short.

This is looking pretty sweet. I assume this will work with the Steam version of DN3D?

Looks awesome, definitely tracking. Also is this a prequel to DNF '11 or the DNF '13 mod?
