Dino D-Day is an exciting new First Person Shooter from 800 North (AKA Digital Ranch Interactive). This is an HL2:OB mod that has served as a prototype for a commercial release we are currently in the final stages of preparing. It is playable though we have not been supporting it for several months as we've focused all of our efforts on the commercial product. The commercial release is slated for March 1, 2011 only on Steam. It is a fast-paced multiplayer game with 12 playable classes including 3 dinosaurs. You've played World War II games...but have you played a World War II game with dinosaurs?

From what it seems, it's just like any other SourceMod that isn't mounting any specific orange box game content but is just on the Orange Box engine... you just gotta mount Source SDK Base - Orange Box, and ANYONE who can download the normal Source SDK Base can also download the Orange Box version of that! So dudes without Orange Box, do not pay attention to the readme! Go to the gameinfo.txt and modify the SteamAppId to be 218 and you should be able to play the mod just fine!

This worked for me.

What a great idea guys. Growing up, I loved to read about Dinosaurs and WWII history. I loved every Jurassic Park movie and also loved the WWII films/shows like Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates, Band of Brothers etc etc. Way to combine the two things I was most interested in as a child and teenager. Game is halfway done downloading, and my only concern is that I'll nostalgia all over the place once I boot the game.
EDIT: I have done about three years of Quality Assurance Functionality Testing work (fancy term for Games Tester), and will try my best to give you guys as many bug reports as possible.

Thanks falcon...bug reports welcome. I'm sure you'll find a lot (but hopefully not so many that it ruins it for you).
