The Diamond Half-Life final is a Super Definition Pack for Half-Life, replacing a wide selection of models, sprites, sounds. Provides full Single and Multi-Player support for the default Half-Life one game, which means this does not create a new modification, but greatly improves the basic files of the original classic game. This pack was designed for Steam Users, but many of it's files can be used for the WON version.

INSTALLATION:
1. right click on the winRAR file, and click on "extract files to..."
2. find your directory through steam > steamapps > and you username. Click on your username and press "OK"
3. you are unpacked, but you are NOT ready to play Single Player. Go find your "valve" folder, where all your models, sprites, sounds and jazz are, and find the "liblist.gam." This file allows botplay, BUT DISABLES SINGLE PLAYER GAMES FROM LOADING. Delete this file to play single player. If you want to play with bots, keep the file there and make your own server and load bots by typing "rcbot addbot" in your server. KEEP IN MIND THAT BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOUR LIBLIST IN THE VALVE FOLDER, YOU PREVENT SINGLE PLAYER. JUST DELETE IT IF YOU WANNA' PLAY SINGLE PLAYER MODE.

is there a way to turn auto-aiming off? for some reason this mod re-enables it and the auto aim button is missing from the mouse tab for some reason so i can't disable it. also the command "sk_allow_autoaim" doesn't work, in fact it doesn't even show up as a command.
I have the steam version of half life and instead of a crosshair I have a big black box and my weapons don't have the hd models. Can someone please help me?
change from software to any other video mode.same thing happened to me when I was using diamond skins&software video mode.
that would vbe the non-steam verion u got there, trust me i had teh same problem, if you want to makethat go away just replace teh new spirtes with teh original one
well in that case anyway to not install the hud along with it? or delete it?
will this interfere with other half life 1 mods? you know, since its replace the original half life 1 files so I thought just to be on the safe side, I should ask if this will interfere with other half life 1 mods
You could always extract all of the original HL content to the mod folder, then copy the mod content over that and replace the existing stuff, then you'd have the mod untouched.
Yes it will. Weapon models will stay the same, but your HL1 mods will now have the DiamonD HUD
