The Diamond Half-Life final is a Super Definition Pack for Half-Life, replacing a wide selection of models, sprites, sounds. Provides full Single and Multi-Player support for the default Half-Life one game, which means this does not create a new modification, but greatly improves the basic files of the original classic game. This pack was designed for Steam Users, but many of it's files can be used for the WON version.

INSTALLATION:
1. right click on the winRAR file, and click on "extract files to..."
2. find your directory through steam > steamapps > and you username. Click on your username and press "OK"
3. you are unpacked, but you are NOT ready to play Single Player. Go find your "valve" folder, where all your models, sprites, sounds and jazz are, and find the "liblist.gam." This file allows botplay, BUT DISABLES SINGLE PLAYER GAMES FROM LOADING. Delete this file to play single player. If you want to play with bots, keep the file there and make your own server and load bots by typing "rcbot addbot" in your server. KEEP IN MIND THAT BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOUR LIBLIST IN THE VALVE FOLDER, YOU PREVENT SINGLE PLAYER. JUST DELETE IT IF YOU WANNA' PLAY SINGLE PLAYER MODE.

I noticed that a HL source redux pack stole your models Diamond
Helppppppppp me pleasee... when I make a new game in singleplayer... and I want to save, I said there was an error of entity and I can not save

What i want to know is WHY does the liblist file make SP crash when it loads the next map?
Huh if somebody can't load levels and saves delete only liblist and a mapcycle i got same trouble so i Just add only folders deleted liblist,mapcycle and all was good i can continue game and no using cheats

Everything about it is wonderful - the sounds, models, and textures. The zoom in crosshairs are ace. At first it didn't work for the guns models/textures, but I deactivated the HD pack and it now works finely.
However, just a question though, do I risk getting VAC banned if I play on the multi with this on?
no not really. If you have a hd program that VAC prohibits then yes.
The things that get you banned are modified DLLs. This mod doesn't have any I know of, and we didn't get banned while testing it either ;).
Playing online with DLLs that enable Bloom however -will- get you banned.
