Welcome to our March update.

As we begin the last part of primary development with Revision, we’re happy to finally announce our v1.0 release date: May 12th. We had been planning to launch later this month, but took stock of the project and our timeline, and decided that we just weren’t going to be happy with the version of Revision we would have had by March 30. So we’ve pushed it back six weeks, and will be making use of the time to make sure everything is as we want it to be.

On a slightly related noted, we’re also happy to announce that we’ve partnered with the New Vision team to distribute their high resolution texture assets with Revision 1.0. This will simplify the process of trying to get the two mods to play nicely together; instead of downloading separate packages and fussing with installation orders and .ini configuration files, it will be handled by our installer with a single download.

Those of you who have been following the Development Progress page on will have noticed we’ve finished our overhauls of the early game environments. We will be reaching out to our playtesters this month to begin gathering external feedback on missions spanning Chapters 1 through 6.

Wait, by full release at the end of the year are you really referring to a 100% release with all levels remade/enhanced from Liberty Island to Area 51? If yes... well, I better start working on clearing my schedule for December. :]

This is the best mod i have ever seen, it would be best overall if it had a sequel story to it. You should honestly look into that, you could make the best mod EVER.

This might not be exactly what you mean, but check out "IWR: Invisible War Revised" by Neveos for something on the order of a sequel story with redone environments.

Maybe as a full game, but that would just be too much work for an unpaid mod project. Though if anyone wants to drown Eidos Montreal (or Valve, or Obsidian, or Splash Damage, etc) in links to this project once its done, we certainly wouldn't complain!

Also about incompatibilities with shifter mod. With the latest release of both mods, I had not been able to get the Magnum (unique 10mm pistol). It's supposed to be found in the 747, on the bed, but instead there was a normal pistol. I hope you wouldn't miss this minor detail in the future releases. Thanks for keeping this mod alive, it's great to see y'all back.

It's true what Jerion says, although in the currently available download the Graveyard map links to a new Paris map not included.

A workaround to get to the vanilla Paris map to continue with the playthrough would be to take the chopper to leave the map and then upon the failure to load the Paris map you can bring up the console (usually by pressing t and then removing the "say"). In the console you type: open 10_Paris_Catacombs
