Hello!
Welcome to our March update.
As we begin the last part of primary development with Revision, we’re happy to finally announce our v1.0 release date: May 12th. We had been planning to launch later this month, but took stock of the project and our timeline, and decided that we just weren’t going to be happy with the version of Revision we would have had by March 30. So we’ve pushed it back six weeks, and will be making use of the time to make sure everything is as we want it to be.
On a slightly related noted, we’re also happy to announce that we’ve partnered with the New Vision team to distribute their high resolution texture assets with Revision 1.0. This will simplify the process of trying to get the two mods to play nicely together; instead of downloading separate packages and fussing with installation orders and .ini configuration files, it will be handled by our installer with a single download.
Those of you who have been following the Development Progress page on www.dx-revision.com will have noticed we’ve finished our overhauls of the early game environments. We will be reaching out to our playtesters this month to begin gathering external feedback on missions spanning Chapters 1 through 6.
Good news all around, and a great addition with the partnering with New Vision.
It's not the end of the mod, but you can see it from here.
Will 1.0 be compatible with Shifter?
Seconding this. Does Shifter 1.9 work with this mod?
I assume NV and HDTP will obviously work.
Yes. Shifter does not work 100% with the demo we have here on Moddb (the office storage feature is broken). 1.0 will solve that bug and bring full Shifter support.
For me the problem is rather in the Shifter itself, I couldn't even get it to create the Shifter.exe now as I play with the new launcher, HDTP and NV. Could anyone send it to me please?
Shifter does not have an .exe...
This is looking really good, can't wait to give it a try.
Great news about the mod and shifter support. Also makes perfect sense to full integrate it with NV, I mean who really would really play with the old textures? DW did such an amazing job staying true to the original's character. Perhaps in the future you guys can include an option in the installer to add HDTP in as well? To simplify it even more and bring the 'total enhancement' (models, textures, maps, music) experience in one easy installer? Just a thought. Other than that, take all the time you need (just not forever :P) to get it right and thank you again so much to everyone involved for enhancing my favourite game of all time. Played through it 17 times now. God, this game is so amazing; it has it all...and now it will have even more than all! It will be beyond perfect haha! I. Am. Ready.
Hey, about that... Dx-revision.com
Awesome news! Makes sense. Thanks to Revision team and the HDTP guys for facilitating this.
Haha, I read March 12th on the Revision site and I was so excited I didn't bother to read the whole post. Then after a couple of hours, I decided to re-read it and to my surprise, I noticed it said May 12th.
But you know what? It's going to be worthed for sure.
Also, I really didn't understand: "We will be reaching out to our playtesters this month to begin gathering external feedback on missions spanning Chapters 1 through 6." Does that mean that a final demo will be released or only specific people can test them out? If so, I would certainly love to be a play tester and report bugs and stuff like that! :)
We have a small list of people to whom we will be sending private betas with semi-final content, initially for the first half of the game, and later on for the second half. We will not be issuing another update for the public demo prior to releasing the full version. If you'd like to be on the list, PM me your email contact information and we'll consider it!
This looks fantastic! I'm so impressed with the world you've created/recreated!
Good job guys, good job. Anyone know when HDTP(full) is supposed to come out?

OMG its sight! I can't believe that Deus Ex has so far since the first few modders decided to revamp a classic.
I appreciate the level of care that has been put into this effort. For me, it is as important as it is for you. And as an engineer, I understand the level of detail both technical and creative, that is required.
Just read the new post on your website stating that you partnered with Kocmo. That is great news! It looks like all the best mods and years of hard work are finally going to accumulate into a new but familiar Deus Ex experience. I have been following this mod for years and was even an early beta tester back in the day. I can't thank you guys enough for all your hard work, you truly have created a masterpiece and I can't wait to play it.
