DXR Training Mission

Deus Ex: Reborn is a Unreal Tournament 2004 modification aimed at giving the classic Deus Ex technological tune-up. The goal is to utilize the capabilities of UE2 to provide the player with a higher resolution Deus Ex experience while keeping the gameplay intact. Hopefully this will result in a visually and physically more immersive game that DX fans can enjoy.

Thanks to blueneptune's work on developing a better shadow system for UT2004, DX fans can now enjoy a much more immersive look and feel. The shadows are crisp, and fully dynamic.

I Just found out that project HDTP is dead. or it could be just the modelling part not 100% sure
Pretty much heh.
that was i bit of a stupid question you are just going to recompile the texures and models, aren't you?
"how did u make this compatible with a mod for deus ex? (HDTP)"
We're just that damn good. "
Care to elaborate?
Perhaps, but to be on the safe side you should get yourself a copy. Deus Ex is only about $5-$10 now.
More like "because both games are based on the Unreal Engine", am i rite?
Regardless, fantastic work. I love the constant updates and early alpha release, too. Keep 'em comin'.

You brought up a great question, krazedkaoz! Why does DXR look so lame?
This is because our goal is to convert Deus Ex to the UT2004 build of the engine AS IS, (which means that we don't touch the art...yet). At a later date we plan to upgrade the textures/models to higher standards. Unlike DXR,the HD mod alone does not implement fully dynamic shadows or interactive Karma objects. But when you combine the two mods (which great care has been taken to ensure compatibility), you have a nice combination of sweet graphics and gripping features.
