Deus Ex: Reborn is a Unreal Tournament 2004 modification aimed at giving the classic Deus Ex technological tune-up. The goal is to utilize the capabilities of UE2 to provide the player with a higher resolution Deus Ex experience while keeping the gameplay intact. Hopefully this will result in a visually and physically more immersive game that DX fans can enjoy.

Thanks to blueneptune's work on developing a better shadow system for UT2004, DX fans can now enjoy a much more immersive look and feel. The shadows are crisp, and fully dynamic.
We also have new forums to make it easier for followers of the mod to post their thoughts.

I really dont think its anybody's place to DEMAND them to do work for them when their not giving anything(besides support) in return, i mean if they want to take a break for awhile there is nothing wrong with that. unless they go complety overboard of course.
well iam gonna say that i am going on holiday this summer and i wont be playing anything till september, so i t is ok with me that the mod will not be finished, and u guys should work as u mentioned earlier and have some fun, well what i am saying is aslong as the mod is complete in september ill be happy :)

i have a small suggestion, add ironsights to this i think it would be a very good addition
development on pause or not, we, or should i say Akerfeldt, has made tremendous progress. and we are in no ways going to abandon this project.
some of us have summer jobs and are trying to save money (like myself) and just cant dedicate the time to manage a mod as well as work 40+ hours a week.

Hey, why is it that all the deus ex mods have slowed to a grinding halt even though its summer. Sure, it may be sunny outside, and im sure most of you have social lives.......... ok, SOME of you, but still, ITS SUMMER!!!! Why not FINISH the mod and have the rest of your summer to enjoy!!! I dont mean to sound too offensive and all in your face and all that, but TNM is still going, but it seems that DX:R and HDTP have basically stopped. And I REALLY hope that this doesnt continue all summer. Come on guys, a bit of progress and encouragement!!!

I think that was just one of their modelers quit. The project will survive though I'm sure
