Deus Ex : New Vision is an attempt to remake the majority of the world (environment) textures in Deus Ex at higher resolutions, in order to make the game feel more modern and create a refreshing gameplay experience for old and new players alike.
The mod is still in progress, with a full release containing upwards of 80% of the original textures remade at high resolution by the end of the year (2009). Currently, a public beta is available for download which contains approximately 67% of the original textures remade.

Looks nice. :)
I have seen some of this textures in "Quake retexturing project"...
If that's the case then they probably used the same source images as us, most are from CGTextures.com.
is this project dead?.. can I haz your b00ts? :D
You aren't having my boots.
I Steelz dem in ur sl33p!
Shouldn't be you knowing the answer to that question?
AbedeuS, there is no "installation" as such. You simply replace your textures. Meaning it does not matter what order it goes in. We're not sure about Reborn yet - but you'll probably need an intact version of the original textures too.
I want this so bad :(
Glad to see that some of us still care about DX1. The textures look great! About time this great game got some TLC. My compliments to you all. Keep up the great work!
