2014 will see an updated version of Hengsha City, featuring intelligent camera systems, drivable vehicles, DX3-style consumables, flyable B-EEs and more. Hengsha City is an online multiplayer first person action RPG, inspired by Deus Ex Human Revolution, using the original Deus Ex Unreal engine. This is how Human Revolution would perhaps have looked in the original engine, but Hengsha City also introduces new features and aspects of the original singleplayer to multiplayer for the first time in Deus Ex.

Hengsha City combines the original Deus Ex Unreal engine with the Deus Ex Human Revolution universe to produce a first person action RPG based on Hengsha City. In the forthcoming 2014 version, players will be able to steal cars and drive them around the city. Also cameras and security systems have been improved to detect criminals. HUD systems have been modified and there now exists a range of Human Revolution-style consumables. The city has also been edited to accomodate traffic both in the air and on the ground. Many new or unusual features to Deus Ex Multiplayer will exist in the city.

Joe just an update, they had trouble with the torso part, but the rest of the skin is definitely included in the beta test. As soon as I can I will get the skinners hooked up with and I think we can resize the torso so that it will import alright. Again a huge thanks and we'll make sure you're in the credits!

Hey Joe, that's fantastic, as we will be having missions in the multiplayer RPG, so Tong would be very useful. We are hanging about at Deusexmultiplayer.freeforums.org for now, while we make the website. Would love to see what you have done. We have so far made the BT skins and the two other player factions in the RPG will be Tong's gang and Harvesters. So I'm really excited. We do credit everyone in the team for contributions and try to make sure everyone can benefit from any PR. We would love to see your work!

Yes, currently OTHERWORLD server is hosting DXMP versions of the maps.
Mapvote will be available as soon as there are four or five HR maps on server. Currently, we are running 16 hr games for each map.

Origins of Sarif, that's a nice idea. Some multiplayer mappers build small arena maps, with little story attached. Here we like epic multiplayer maps, which place the player into the Deus Ex world. When we finally get to play DXHR, we'll dissect the new storyline and definitely look for interesting maps.

Somewhere out of bounds in the game, might make for an interesting MP map.
