Demo Patch to 1.3.1
Aug 22, 2008 Patch 0 commentsThis patch is important for every Doom 3 owner having Patch 1.3.1 installed. First install the demofile itself and the patch afterwards.
In Desolated you play an Ex-Marine Dave who lost his family. The so called "Monsters" holded up a supermarket and killed his wife same as his two children. In this belief he wanted just to kill all that creatures, no matter of the price. But soon he'll understand, that he fought against the wrong and that there's no real evil or good... In Desolated: The Crying Fate you play the revenge-campaign of Dave and you will get through a lot of different places, for example a village, a train, a facility and so on. So the architecture is going to change very often and also the way of mastering the different places, either. The Modification will have new maps, models, textures, sounds etc. same as a money system, a "new" weapon called Firegun instead of the Plasmagun. What is so special about the mod is the story written by a talented story-writer and the plot is about the good and evil complex, but not like good vs. evil, it's going to be more special and new, a mod with a new kind of story.

I wish you a happy hello and I've got some news for you. I know this site haven't been updated since a while but there are many reasons for that, mostly the army. However, now the first (and hardest) 3 months are over and I'm on a new location. Just some lessons about my new work there and I'll find the time to continue the project as soon as possible.
Now there's no new level stuff made just some little models and currently I'm working on a new weapon model for the pistol. This one will be implemented by Neurological (Mind) so thanks to him. As already mentioned we're working together so we'll "parting" the weapon, meaning the both projects will use it (maybe).
Still I nearly forgot something important, a lot of people had problems with the camera in the demo. Now it's possible to switch between first- and thirdperson. You can also zom in and out (just in third person) via key (which you can assign on your own), so there's no need for using the console. But this wouldn't be possible without the help of a talented new coder in the team... I wanna welcome and thank Cameron Law for the help.

Holt sh*t.this looks great.Very promiseing.
really hope this mod works on my intel mac, but it looks awesome anyways. keep up the fantastic work.
Really good job, I like the money system and the look of outdoor areas. This is a really improvement of D3, also looks much polished than Hell Island. Watching this mod.
Christ, this looks superb! I can't believe there are only 6 members watching this thing, it needs much more love! Great video, really presents the project as if it were a real game in development. How far along is this? It looks huge! I'm not really a fan of HDR/bloom but the shader effect really looks nice here, especially in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like areas.
Watching, keep up the good work!
