Just a quick update on the polishing phase of DvH.
Final Game Mode
After 2 years of development and playtesting from practically day 1 we are working on what we feel is the best game mode to represent fair and even teams in DvH:
- Humans must survive as long as they can
- Every minute a demon abilitie is given to the demon team
- Every minute the demon team health and abilitiy strength gets stronger
Teams swap at the end of each round, so all players take turns being the demons & humans. The team that survived longest as humans win. The team that lost, well at least you was the most powerful demons ;)
Stability updates
We are removing all episode 2 content for 2 reasons. More players can play and dont have to install episode 2, and the server stability with episode 2 was horrendous (advice to all other source modders not to use ep2 with dedicated servers. listen servers are ok!). It takes just one person to join who doesnt have ep2 intalled to play for 5 minutes to take down the server.
We have 4 maps converted and assets re-modelled, the rest will come soon, as well as more maps are in development.

Amazing idea
Is the mod dead? The last thing I have seen was that Halloween beta play and that lasted about 5 minutes, crashed and haven't heard anything about the mod since. I t would be a real shame if it is dead, so much effort went into this.
