Delusion:Source is a single-player story about a sanitarium patient who is forced out of his institution during a violent outbreak.
You are Jacob Stiltz, a resident in Walnut Cove's Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Little is known about you, even you yourself are oblivious to yourself and your surroundings.
What happens when a lunatic is released unto the world unsupervised, with his only guidance coming from another inmate that suffers from the same condition as yourself?
It's a thriller story that only you, the player, can unfold.
Delusion:Source PLANS to bring you:
*Episodic releases.
*Not-So-Restricted Gameplay.
Not linear, but not free-roam. A nice range in-between.
*An unique storyline based on the principles of mentality and corruption.
*A chance for players to witness events through two different "worlds". The truth (reality) and your own delusional recreation of areas.
*A true sense of combat and undertaking certain tasks.
*Intriguing puzzles built to keep you busy for moments, while continuing to progress the story through them.
*A challenge. DEL:S isn't going to be your typical gun-n-runner.
You will have to conserve ammunition and health-kits to ensure your chances against the enemies that await you further in the levels.
*Advanced Melee Combat;
Many times you will find yourself without ammunition.
You will be able to pick up a variety of debris to use as a weapon.
*The "Paranoia" System;
The more disturbing imagery that the character witnesses, the more his psyche takes a hit. As your mentality takes hits, your efficiency and perception will start to deteriorate in combat.

Being as this was my first mod idea, a lot of things went weary and there was a lot of problems. The mod lost it's steam-rolling power and came to a dead stop due to many things, my own faults - members being particularly underage and still in school (school season started up right as the mod started losing force), and just all sorts of things.
So unfortunately - I've had the mod archived.
Fortunately - As long as I'm alive and the idea isn't stolen from me, this mod will happen one day.
At the current time, myself and a couple previous members of the team are working on a new and simpler idea to get our knives sharpened for the mod game.
If you want to check it out/discuss Delusion:Source, head on over to my sub-portfolio forums.
So until we finish that, there will be no activity on this page in regards to development of Delusion:Source.

Hey Sebhael, when's that media update coming, I wanna see my drawings. :P
Reminds me of Dr.Baldhead/Faust and Cosmo McKinley
Never heard of two of them, but I have of Faust.
Anyways, is that a good thing?
Looks and sounds really cool..but i would like to see some more info=)
Thanks, and we'll get you more information as we progress with development :D
Good luck with mod then!=)
Excellent idea, i look forward to this mod. It truly sounds like it would scare the crap out of me, the summary alone gave me the chills. Keep up the good work!
Oo i hope its the revoultion of the zombie games :P like very real looking monsters en guns whit much ammo and asome look :D Good Luck!
Well, while we are trying to revolutionize the horror genre.
There is no mention or future thought of adding in zombies to the mod's enemy roster.
The weapons are going to be basic, and ammo is going to be scarce.
We are working on a simple philosophy here.
More Powerful Weapons = Less Fear.
So the mod's arsenal is going to be as stripped as we can possibly make it.
