Deliverance 2600 is a Metroidvania-inspired, exploration-focused total conversion for Doom and Doom 2, powered by the GZDoom engine. The player assumes the role of Stanford T. Pace, a former prison inmate who volunteers for Project Deliverance, which is intended to rehabilitate criminals by means of extreme discipline. He is then sent out on a mission to investigate a mysterious communications breakdown with a research facility on the planet Ferrus XII. But what he seeks is something else than redemption...

Report RSS Unofficial YouTube playlist + v1.2 coming soon!

An unofficial YouTube playlist for fan-made videos appears, and v1.2 is on the way with a quick fix for the opening and ending sequences.

It has been roughly two months since the release of Deliverance 2600, as well as the last update. Anyway, there is now (and actually has been for a while) a YouTube playlist for "unofficial" Deliverance 2600 videos. Currently, it houses a full, 3-part playthrough done by Piece of Pie Software that was uploaded over the past few days.

The playlist is accessible via the link below, and in case any of you have any D2600-related videos to share, let me know and I'll happily add them into it!

On another note, there's going to be a v1.2 coming shortly. v1.2 intends to fix the opening and ending sequences so that the HUD will not be visible during them. No release date for the build has been set as of yet, but I anticipate it won't take longer than 2 weeks.

EDIT: In fact, v1.2 is out already, a mere day after posting this.
