November Update news - Deep Impact mod for C&C: Generals Zero Hour

Hello to all EC Fans (and EC fans to-be). We're here today to tell you that yes, we can, in fact, learn from our mistakes. Thats why I'm here today to show you our first fully skinned EC update.So heres what you've all been waiting for.

Burst Mag Cannon (BMG)

Christened the "Big Metal Gun" by the forces they help defend, its unquestionable that these monsters are lethal. After seeing limited deployment along the German line, they've recently come into mass deployment. However, they remain out of reach of your average dozer crew and their blueprints- they are rumored to be deployed only by advanced drop pods. In this manner, however, all European Generals can deploy them wherever they fancy (by way of a Generals Power). However, despite there now widespread appearance, their actual firing methods are unknown. Aside from a handful of technicians and government officials, the exact workings of these monstrous machines are still mostly unknown. This is doubly true of the EYE system mounted on them, which is said to designate targets for the autonomous weapon before they are even visible to the human eye.

Archer Artillery

The newly developed Archer Artillery vehicle is among the most conventional of the WEA's long range strike assets. Despite this conventionality, it is also among their most lethal. Equipped with a 68mm howitzer, this traditional artillery tube can hit fast and hard, then fall back behind advancing armor. It is surprisingly fast for artillery, making a top speed of 80 Km/S (though rarely safely). Obviously, this speed comes at the cost of heavy armor- its a glass cannon. Despite this, with a proper escort, the Archer is among the best ways there is to put a damper on any UAN armored group.

Starchild

Around the time the WEA began to realize that the Eurofighter was becoming dated, a small start up company in the British Isles began work on the Star Child project. Realizing that they needed a new Fighter-Bomber to replace their fleet of Eurofighters, they quickly bought into the concept, and Armistice Corporation was suddenly one design lighter and nearly a billion dollars richer. The result? Europe's new front line multi-purpose aircraft- the Starchild. Armed with 8 Air To Surface missiles and a modified GAU-8 Avenger cannon, they're known to be among the most lethal aircraft in the sky. Its rumored that pilots have flown in, blown out all their missiles on enemy tanks, and proceeded to scare off entire fighter escorts with their gattling guns.

Thats all we have today, aside from an introduction for our newest staff member, Pav3d, who is now unwrapping and skinning for us. We'll have more next month, but for now...
