Railgun Technology has been a long time in the works. The WEA has been researching this particular field for ages, but their research has especially stepped up since the dismantlement treaty went through. This research has produced a new weapon: the Railgun Tank. Capable of sending a single tungsten shell through small targets at extreme range, its only serious downside is that once the vehicles capacitors have been discharged, it takes a fair amount of time for the system to be prepped to fire again. The brand new reactor has also had... questionable... safety results. Yet there's no time to delay, and these tanks are being rushed to the front line as fast as possible.

Look like a Wraith tank.
The railgun tank does have some resemblance to a CNC wraith tank but the design was based off something different.
By the way Flotsam150... Is there any particular reason why your comparing all of our work to SHW, ROTR and CNC units?

It's one thing to compare quality as you probably do, and another to compare models, and insinuate that we copy others. People should just learn to search what's behind every model that looks familiar before commenting.

This looks like the german Igel II prototype, which will be a good tank once it will be released to the battlefield.

Does that meen it wil be damaged by firing his gun ?
Since it is a rail gun, only the rail itself would eventually be damaged (which is one of the main problems we still cannot build proper sized ones), I rather think it will get a reactor overload when destroyed, because the energy required to use a railgun is ridiculous.
So lemme guess, WEA's main power is railgun weapons, right???

That is correct, WEA's main weapon is railguns.
WEA are the most technologically advanced faction in the game.
EC is set in the year 2081. :P So we have some pretty advanced stuff in EC.

A railgun is basically, a very sharp Tungsten rod propelled by a series of electromagnets to ultrahigh speed, like a maglev train, while also getting very hot, then acting as a hot Tungsten knife through armor and flesh butter. Since Tungsten has the hottest melting point of all metals it is used, or other metals will melt in the barrel.
Ohh belive me, Railguns are just the begining. You will see some really high tech stuff for the sub-gens, but that is classified at the moment.

A very excellent tank I think this is the coolest tank ive seen, I think maybe you could make the gun a little longer, but the tank the design is very good
