Do not despair! We at DoD are having real life issues flood us, but do not give up hope. Both mods as slow as progress may actually seem are still being worked on but only when team members seriously have a sufficient amount of time to actually do anything.

Now trust us we track mods too and before we started we where exactly like you guys and girls, we never use to like hearing that a mod slowed down or stopped due to real life issues and we know the feeling of the fear that comes from the mods possibly not being done. We assure you that we intend to do EVERYTHING in our power to finish both DoT and OTT.

However DoT is looking for more people to aid with OTT, and possibly DoT. OTT is a huge project and thought we knew this going in to it we sadly didn't comprehend this very well and now have a huge hole to get out off :P. So we are looking for anyone who wishes to either try it or who knows what to do and wishes to aid in the production of OTT.

So we are looking for anyone who can do the following or wishes to try the following.

-Modeling
-Scripting
-Concept Art
-Texturing
-Map Making
-Mission Making

I hope to have some new DoT and OTT models to show soon but I sadly can't promise anything, stay tuned for future updates and information as we have it for you.

However bare in mind that the DoT mod may not need help at this time but if you are interested do not be afraid to speak up and let us know :)

I am sorry to report, and in all honest angry about it too that this mod will not be finished. With Jake Wedding leaving the team and I the only modder with no texture experience or any other experience in arma at all aside from my model work which is still novice at best, this mod will never come to be without a team.

Now as it stands I am actually frustrated that I was forced to stop, the WWI mod also isn't looking so good but if I had a team to work on both then I would jump back on the band wagon to work hard on both but on my own it’s all just too much work. Now I know we have asked again and again but if anyone has skills in working with arma, from model making to texturing, to even scripting and getting stuff in to the game if you could find the time I would gladly work with you. Though both mods need every man and woman we can get, I would settle for the aid with just one and that mod is of your choice.

But as it stands I am ashamed that both mods may never be made and tbh with all the work I put in to both model wise even though they may suck I am amongst you fans who are probably not pleased, I know I am not. So again I want to express my deepest regrets and say sorry for the buildup and failure but also as stated anyone who wishes to help to keep the mods alive please if you can step up and lend me a hand :)

Aww, I understand. Was going to eventually buy ArmA 2: Combined Operations for this mod alone (maybe also I44. XD lol). If the mod is forced to come to a close, I suppose it isn't anyone's fault. Things like this happen. If the mods should 'never get made', I usually propose releasing whatever's already done and seeing if someone else picks up the reigns, and you could choose to help the new people with it or....not. That's the way I see mods surviving in modding communities, such as the DF mod for Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy. They're stopping production on it because of real life problems and one of the things they're going to do is polish up whatever they can and then releasing everything to the community. PC games with modding support relies heavily on communities such as this to get things done and make things a more enjoyable experience for everyone. I can understand the frustration of putting so much hard work into something you love and then just not being able to finish what you set out to do. It is sad to hear this, but I support your decision. :)

Lately I have been actually searching for members to aid with both mods, I for one worked on both mods as best as could and as I stated I hated actually having to give up and as such I will continue to work slowly on both. But as I said I could always use help from anyone who is willing to aid me with which ever mod. Just between us I desperately want this mod to be made, who doesn't like C&C :D

See! Those are my same thoughts, who doesn't like Command and Conquer? I've been trying to find ways to merely just reskin default units and put new units in using the base models for Operation Flashpoint, but I haven't been given a straight answer as for how to start. I wanted to go from Dawn to Wars. I've also wanted to do Red Alert series, I mean, Tesla coil defenses would be awesome to deploy or go up against.

Adding onto that, for Tiberian Dawn, going up against an Obelisk would be an absolute nightmare! Also imagine using the Ion Cannon as a support power. Place the beacon like in Renegade and get the hell out. Or laze a target or something like that. Might go the full spectrum and do Generals as well. I love Tiberium universe more to be honest. I grew up with it. :) Since my computer can't handle ArmA 1 and 2, I'm wanting one for OFP pretty bad. It would be amazing, really. Most of the 'models' are already made. Just a few tweaks here and there and you got most of the mod done. Just gotta get new models for the Obelisk and such. :)

I have a full unit list of what I'd like to see in a mod too!

Sadly the teams focus is now on the World War 1 even if I want to see a C&C, sadly with work, school, photography, book writing and what I do for WWI I don't have time to dedicate to both mods like I wanted to :(

Need Mission Makers, eh?

I don't have any released work, but that doesn't mean that I don't know my way around the editor and scripting. This is just the kind of project I'd like to start my portfolio with.

Get in touch with me at shivian124@hotmail.com if you want to know more. Give me a test assignment or something like that if you feel it is necessary.

I'm personally waiting for major C&C inspired mods for the older games such as OFP1: CWC (now Cold War Assault) and ArmA 1 as well, since I'll likely never have a computer remotely capable of playing ArmA 2 (my fault I guess.). But this is awesome regardless. Great work guys.
