We had the opportunity to offer the public a chance of playing Decadence, and it turned out to be an awesome experience. People played Decadence all day long and it got somewhat heated during the matches at times, which is great to see as a developer. We used this opportunity to hunt down the last remaining bugs and imbalances in the game design, something that is very important in the end of a development cycle. You can’t test things too much!
An interesting thing that came up during the intense and competitive matches were that the team with someone yelling orders and coaching them won most of the time, only proving that it pays to have a loudmouth behind you who know her or his way around Decadence! Communication and teamwork is vital, if you have them under control you can beat pretty much anyone!

Congratulations! Where exactly did this occur? Some kind of mod showcase event?
Wish I could have been there. I assume this occured at your university?
Yes, it was at our University.
Just a heads, there's a typo in the second paragraph, "couching".
Very cool though, I have not heard of many mods having a "public showing".
Thanks for the heads up, it's fixed now... silly me...
