Change what they're stongest and weakest against. Like the Rocket Pods could be good against vehicles, airplanes, buildings, but not as good against infantry because they deal less damage to them and are more likely to miss (unless you've changed that part of ZH)

The point of the Variance drone is that they start out with a decent "middle weapon" effective against both Air and Ground units. The upgrades(or rather side-grades) make them focus their damage on what type of target they have-- in this case Aerial targets and Ground targets.

The cannon upgrade makes it effective against nearly all ground targets already. Hence, I had to make it unable to attack aerial targets.

The rocket pods upgrade makes it effective against nearly all aerial targets. I had to remove ground targeting since it will be redundant.

The concept of this unit comes from the Zerg Mutalisk from Starcraft.

Me thinks this is going to be last unit for the Drones tech tree... for now...

So These are the Variance Drones.
They have by-default a Minigun to take down both air and ground forces.

However, you can have them equip a Huge Cannon to have them focus firepower on the ground. Or, you have them equip Rocket Pods to engage in air battles.

Although, once you upgrade them, they can never come back.
