Today is D.E.A.D's Holiday Media Blast, and we have a bunch of images to showoff, but first we'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! With this being the season for sharing, we thought we'd share some of our weapon models with you, because theres no fun holiday without some guns involved right? Along with the new weapons we'd like to take this time to welcome a new member to the team, De-Mix, who has been working just has hard as Santa's little elves to bring you some really nice weapons. We also want to show off Craigf's very first weapon skin, the MP5, he managed to get the MP5 done just in time for Christmas.
You will also see a few different player hand skins that Craigf has been working on, from bloody style human hands to different stages of decaying zombie hands, he has also tweaked a set of zombie hands to include a missing finger and some really deep tissue damage. He will soon begin skinning on our main melee weapon, the chainsaw, so look for that sometime next month. Evolution (our lead animator) has also been hard at work with a few models of his own, a wrench, a meat cleaver and a knife, all of which he skinned himself, he has also been working with our coder Birdman to get these weapons ingame and working on the animations. Birdman (our lead coder) has been working very hard to get a stable version of our alpha build going, so that soon we could begin playtesting all these new weapons, so we will have more ingame shots for you very soon!
