Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddlers Green is a Survival/Horror first person shooter from Brainbox Games. The game was released in October 2005, about the same time as the movie, Land of the Dead. It generally received poor reviews and was entirely broken.
Dead Epidemic changes all of this.
You play the role of Sgt. John Gates. You were sent to stop a terrorist organization by the name of "C.O.I.L", but everything goes wrong once you find your team slaughtered. One of your team has been poisoned by an unknown virus, and you have taken him back to civilization, where he died.
Problem was... he didn't stay dead.
It has been one month since the outbreak has occurred, and you have been stationed at a run down military base. There is no cure, and the hopes of finding one is very small amongst the remaining survivors. You have just gotten word that Dr. Necro, the man responsible for C.O.I.L, has just been found on a remote island of 'Queensport'. It is up to you and your new team to hunt down this madman and stop him from enhancing the virus. But on your way to Queensport, your transport helicopter gets shot down by Necro's militia, leaving you stranded in the middle of the country.
Dead Epidemic features a number of brutal weaponry to defend yourself with, ranging from the Spas-12 shotgun, Glock 17, M4, and even a homemade Flamethrower. All weapons are different in that they have some sort of secondary attachment, such as flashlights, brass knuckles, and a M203 grenade launcher. If you feel like one is not enough, you can dual most pistols and sub-machine guns in the game.

Well maybe it's not what we had in mind for the original release, but it's better than nothing. This version only includes the campaign mode. I tried to finish up survival, but it was going to take a lot longer than I expected, and my time is very limited these days. I'd really like to release an expansion sometime in the future, that could contain things such as the Flamethrower, G-36, Survival mode, melee weapons, or even multiplayer. These were all planned to be released with the campaign mode, but they're far from finished.
Here's the system requirements, also located in the ReadMe file.
Basically, if you could run Land of the Dead, you can run Dead Epidemic.
I would really like to thank everyone for making this possible. I wish I had the time to finish the unreleased features I mentioned above, as they would make the game much more enjoyable.
If you come across any bugs, or have any issues installing/running the game, please make a post in our bug report thread on Resurrection-Studios.

Almost everything was perfect except for few bug moments during maps and I wasn't too happy about the voice acting but other then that this was truely fun.

Dead folder not system folder.
Samething happen to me, i just re copied the files to the right folder and BAM it works.
Thanks. Yeah the final boss battle was suppose to be more intense, like after you killed him he would fall into a pit of zombie goo, and turn into this weird monster.. but we never had the resources to finish it up. The prototype we had a few years ago was pretty fun though. :P
oh that would be fun what happen to the other prototype you had none finished what you had last time had more in it?
It never got finished. It would have taken ages to get it working, even with a bigger sized team, which we had at the time.
