So we are back with some more podcasting Left 4 Deadness. This week we are breaking into a new style of doing Maps, we're doing them video style. We found that doing reviews as purley audio was not really any good at truly justifying the map without playing it. So we decided that it was time that we moved into making this something for you to watch whilst eating your breakfast. Another good reason for this is that some people listen to the podcast just for the map and they usually don't listen to the whole podcast because they cannot be bothered to wait for it.
Once again some things go bad with audio, there was some problems with North Surrey which was sent in my Korean Thug, there is some very strange but with Audacity that we cannot seem to fix and get the audio back for that. And we would also like to appologise to Airon who provided us with some help cleaning up the audio and went it came to actually attempting to sort it out we ran out of time to ask questions before being late with podcast releases. I will be sending a bunch of questions to him when i get a chance about sorting out the audio properly.

Thought that this is great, but then I saw all those negative comments about stealing content, hyping, bugging.. Ah, I won't even try it out. Better luck next time.
Well...seems I was right about this afterall. Moddb, it's been awhile, but I'm back.
Valiant effort, but no cigar. Did you really think stealing content, slapping it together, and then saying you spent alot of effort and hard work on it would make people accept it even though it's this buggy? Really? 4 years for something like this? I've seen full blown mods with teams the same size as yours complete and release a non-buggy version faster, with alot more content.
Though an obvious retort is "Well, why don't you do better?" Well, I'm not a mod maker, and I don't have such skills, so obviously you outclass me in such aspects. When you get a food at a diner, and it's not quite up to par, don't you feel you want to complain? Despite you may not be able to make it any better yourself.
If you had not stolen content, not bragged about it, not hyped it up, and yes you did, you yourself hyped it, which is a big "no-no" for mod makers, because it causes reactions such as this, if you had not done this, it would be a pretty decent job.
Basically, you've got some ability, but you took the easy way this time. Taking the easy way is not a good idea. For example, anyone can make a Web-page using a pre-built template, but it'll never look as good as one built from scratch, same with mods.
Well said!
You seem to be missing the point entirely.
This mod was hyped up to be the best mod that was going to be released for L4D, ever. It won the mod of the year award for best upcoming mod. People were expecting this to be a good mod. Beta or no, you'd expect it to at least work. Remember that a public beta is a FIRST IMPRESSION - playing this is going to put some people off even touching the final product.
Not to mention people PAID the guy so he could buy a new computer to finish this. People have every right to be pissed off right now, and unless he completely turns it around, I expect there to be one hell of a lot of angry people come full release.

Were people forced to pay? Were they lashed and beaten to pay? It was optional to pay, so if you don't want to pay, dont.
That is beside the point completely. It doesn't matter if they weren't forced to, they did it out of kindness in the understanding that they would get a good campaign out at the end.
Let's put it this way. If you donated to a charity that promised to help animals in need, and they went and spent most it on tins of dog food which they gave to the local dog shelter, and pocketed the rest. That is effectively what has happened here. Yes, technically they have done what was promised, but they've done it in a cheap way and ended up profiting out of some strangers kindness in the end.

You people are just butthurt for donating money without thinking.
Me and him didn't donate, but we feel sorry for the people who did. Like Gajilitron said, if someone donates to something the expect the promised result. You are just way to stupid to see or understand this.
I see why you all crying, you think this is a shop, where you pay for something and expect a product. Well its not.. its a mod made by a random guy during his free time. A donation doesn't magicly make everything sorted out and done.
Except do not expect a half arsed job.
