5 comments by SC.Nick on Nov 9th, 2009 digg this super bookmark So we are back with some more podcasting Left 4 Deadness. This week we are breaking into a new style of doing Maps, we're doing them video style. We found that doing reviews as purley audio was not really any good at truly justifying the map without playing it. So we decided that it was time that we moved into making this something for you to watch whilst eating your breakfast. Another good reason for this is that some people listen to the podcast just for the map and they usually don't listen to the whole podcast because they cannot be bothered to wait for it. Once again some things go bad with audio, there was some problems with North Surrey which was sent in my Korean Thug, there is some very strange but with Audacity that we cannot seem to fix and get the audio back for that. And we would also like to appologise to Airon who provided us with some help cleaning up the audio and went it came to actually attempting to sort it out we ran out of time to ask questions before being late with podcast releases. I will be sending a bunch of questions to him when i get a chance about sorting out the audio properly. Anywho show notes:

Congrats Darth Brush.
Just make sure that there are no NMRiH created assets in it, as we're still alive, and using those props and textures, thanks.
Oh snapple, I'm sure he's going to have to pretty much change everything he's done so far then.
Haha. Good!
And now an OFFICIAL PM from NMRiH's InZaneFlea:
Darth Brush...How can I say this nicely. He took Last Stand and Harvest, both maps that I aided in the creation of the layouts with Mobius years ago, for NMRiH. He made them. And gave them both to Zombie Panic Source, after we supported him. He also took Crossroads mall from us, with content created by our team (A lot of the ads in the map and the sort are references to NMRiH team-members). Now, Zombie Panic Source has released 1.5 with OUR Harvest map, and they're just now giving me Last Stand back. It's been a complete disaster, in my opinion. But yes, that was me. And I'm standing by that decision.

Zombiemod on HL2/Orange Box = instant hit.
doesn't seem fair, nor does it mean you did a bad job. I like zombie games, but I think they are usually the most generic of all stories and games.
New models, texutres, maps - sounds like a mod to me and if mostly done by one guy then even better. Congrats on winning, ignore the idiots - i guess what the dont understand is that in L4D the campaign/map/story is the gameplay. I'm looking forward to having a great new campaign on the best, most innovative game out there currently.
He didn't make most of the custom content. It was made for nmrih.
good job! ignore the drama.
Honestly, I don't really think this mod deserves #1. I support you guys and all your work, and I really do think this will turn out great, but honestly there are so many mods which, in terms of actual work hours, had a lot more effort put into them. Congrats, though.

Yeh, unfortunately I have to agree, I mean its a great looking mod, though, I would be tempted to call it a map-pack and it looks like some decent hours have gone into it, but as samlan said, I think other mods would have put ALOT more effort in.
Congrats on wining :D
