DC Cooperative is a Coop mod with a singleplayer storyline that can also be played in multiplayer with your friends. DC Coop has a wide variety of weapons, monsters and items, such as Parachute, Nightvision, and an Acid protection suit, and an Apache in which player can fly. Team work is required on some of the maps to get past them.
DC Coop also brings a deathmatch mode incase you have beaten all the maps and just want to fight against each other, or have a clan match. DC brings plenty of maps to play in multiplayer, each with a different mission or storyline.

Today I’m happy to say, that hard work and an amazing amount of effort put into the mod DCCoop has finally paid off. Although some would say this is some other Co-Op knock off, I have to say its much more then some "knock off", something almost completely different then Co-Op all together. With more weapons, enemies and playing modes, I fail to see how this is a Co-Op knock off. That’s why I’m proud to announce the release of the first public final.Mappers of this mod will find loads of new entities to play around with, and loads of new features to test the effects of. To read about the mod, old news and new news, visit, www.moddb.com/mods/1718. The DCCoop site itself can be found at www.redfox-mod-studios.com/dccoop for the time being, with download links listed on the sites of both links. Inclosing, DCCoop is a fun mod to play by yourself, or with friends. Enjoy the mod!

This mod sounds truely excellent. May things that should have been included with another mod that shall remain nameless are being added to this mod, which arn't being taken seriously or steriotyped as being just a reflection of CS. These weapons already existed before CS. That kind of opinion is very ignorent and only causes a game to be taken less seriously when this kind of reasoning is used, and has less of a chance of growing. I see more potential in this game, but only if you take it further. I have a few suggestions and things to say....

I'd like to see a multiplayer AI mission mod thats more sniper friendly. Its a unique style of playing that a lot of people don't understand because they are more paced, don't want to be seen, like to wait for their prey, and dont like to make noise. I'd like to see multiple hiding places with cover on maps. They could require effort or are hazordous to get to and have a good clear view of a single area of the map so the sniper does still have to move around to stay with the team. I suggest a war torn bulding grown over with ivy, brush, and ferns; maybe even a tree you can hide in? How about a dranage area with bars and grown over with moss, water plants, and grass; or a small cave-like hole high up on a rock face? I have some some masked textures I wouldn't minde submiting. I want to see the sniper given the chance to gain a better reputation as a teamate you know you can count on when things get hairy, and given more options to do so including several weapons types to choose from depending on the situation. Sniper rifles should alwaysinterupt the fire of ALL types of enemies when they are shot. This will enable snipers to better aid their teams.

Im really sick of the M40a1 sniper rifle. I'd like to see something different for once. How about the Steyr Scout? This model doesn't take up as much of the screen, and the firing sound is cleaner and less noisy. Snipers don't like loud obnoxious weapons. I'd also like to see a slightly less powerful automatic sniper rifle like the G3 SG1, but not the commando.... I hate the commando. This could be used to aid team members against larger enemy groups with more effective cover fire. By the time you shoot and recock the a traditional rifle a few times, your teammates are already dead. I also think a very powerful sniper rifle like the .50 Caliber M82A1A could be added as a very rare weapon that can be used against heavy armored aliens like gargs and big momma's, vehicle (flying/grounded) or brush based turrets and tanks, and can shoot through enemy pill boxes, barracades, and other types of walls as long as they are not too thick. Again, it should be very rare so its not over used, and on top of that should require the player to prop it up on a stand before they can use it, which means that you cant run run around with it. Here's a link if you want some pics or to read about it, just copy and paste the link into your address bar: Globalsecurity.org

I also do voice acting if you need it. :) I can do that lower ominous raspy voice, among some others, and Im pretty good at including emotion in my work if you need someone to tell a story or narrate events in a map/map series. I did some work a while back for a more professional clan that had audio files sent for new members and promotions, and I did narrating for a map. Over a year ago, an older hard drive went bad and in the process I lost my work..... so I dont have any examples to send, that is if the team is looking for anyone.... possibly? I can also make textures. (nice ones) :)
